The vocalists in this video are so calm and controlled. I feel like any choir who performs this unintentionally makes it sound much more forceful and chaotic lol. Younger voices have a hard time with faster and higher pieces, especially with the funny tempo that Come to the Music has. Still though, its amusing to remember my middle school choir belting this out lol

We sang this for Honor Choir during my freshman year, which was my last year to participate (I, sadly, got sick the morning of, so I couldn't actually go. I did end up knowing all of the songs, however!). This is just such a cheerful and fun song, even if slightly hard to sing in a controlled fashion, and I even got my sister to start listening to it.

Our school was getting a new choir teacher after our current one was retiring after the end of the year, and I was one of 12 choir members recruited to help with auditioning and interviews for new recruits. I remember the second teacher that came in brought in this song to sing as a means of seeing his teaching skills. He was my favorite out of the 3 recruits, I think this song might've influenced it a little bit, but I did really like him. Best part is I recently found out that he was hired for the position, so I get him as a teacher next year!
