1 SLIME GROUP RESETTING @ 6:00. I am not using speed pot. I am not blizzarding the top left pack. I do everything just as shown but this 1 group still resets and I am not sure why. Even the 2 pack of slimes just ahead do not reset. Has anyone figured out the reason behind this? I am still getting 185+ mobs without the top left slime and this pack on top of waterfall. I use cone/arcane to hit ALL in that pack, so they all agro. I walked through the instance and this is literally the only pack that resets. **solved: Don't get hit by any of the sludges at 9:09. I think if you get hit by one of these groups the reset ties in with the slime group at waterfall.
awesome video as always! At 19:25 I would simply jump down already and pop a LIP to save it clean, because I fear kiting them another loop probably soft reset the XP. However, the toons *must not* do anything to you to prevent showing up on the aggro table.
Arlaeus, you dont have to blink through the root after the blizzard in viletongue room. You can walk > jump the ledge towards the stairs. Needs a bit of practise but its nicer imho.

@@arlaeus9491 it's not the same for a gnome - going through the water is different, mob pathing is therefore also different and the pack is potentially closer. And the zanza / iron grenades you sometimes have are a real edge that many of us can't use, so would be really great to see how to do it with a gnome, with no zanza or iron grenades!!
Good video. Would love to see it done without a Zanza pot. Feels like a requirement when attempting this same run even though you said it just helps but it is not required. You also seem to never do Mara pulls without the Zanza pot, at least on the last stream I saw you doing Mara 1 pulls. If it really is not a requirement, I would love to see you do it without. Keep up the good work otherwise.

I finally know, why i f-up the Killphase... Just standed on the first Spot so i got hit from the casts the whole time and i often get interrupted while channeling losing control of the Pack. Thank you!
in ur first video, from which I learned mara boosting, u didn't said something about doin wide turns with the mobs but another youtube did. so with his and ofc your guide I learned to boost mara pretty fast (first successful run after 7 tries, first successful 10 runs in a row after the 12th) and got so fucking rich :-] so thank you very much! just got darnassus exalted ^^ now learning the path from the video, for better results :-)

how do you avoid getting hit by knockdown from the shamblers? whenever i get knockdowned i either die or go to very low health. Sometimes i dont get hit by it but think its pure RNG

@UCY75yo5fl-0LNMgQRHiM9gQ it doenst matter as long as you keep them slowed, cast your blizzard earlier and try to slow every mob, if one or two run straight towards your blizzard without getting slowed its not a big deal

Every time i try this run i just dont tend to be fast enough they always catch up to me while im doing the blizzard on the pack of slimes on the ledge.
@@maxi3837 you can try to get to that part earlier but without zanza it might not be possible. You could always throw a nade on that pack once you go up the ramp. He shows it in his previous no slime reset video.
For the life of me I can’t figure out how you loot so quickly. I have speedy auto loot installed, and use shift + wheel up/down for mouseover interaction. My looting while way faster than without those is still 3-4 times slower than what I see you looting.
i really need this, those slime always reset on my run, so i only get like 167-172, i have try it just exactly what you did and i got 203 xD but i try it without zanza they always catch up so i decide to not run this without zanza , btw thanks its really helps!
I gotta try out the tips, I’ve had 190ish pulls but never over 200. Those 3 tree ants resetting are the worse! What is that addon you use for the kill tracker?
its unfortunately not that easy. there's different xp amounts you get based on the average level of the group. you can expect 20-30 would be 3-4 full SM clears and 30-40 to be 4-5 full SM clears. Then 40-50 would be on average 4-5 full mara clears
Arlaeus Just started learning the ZG farm from your videos, I’ve died probably 15-20 times already. I’ve succeeded once. So I started practicing the bridge jump by pulling just the one pack closest to the bridge. by jumping over and using the bamboo reset. just so I could practice with a more forgiving pack. it helped me get more comfortable with the bridge jump with a live mob pack. I can’t tell you how much time I’ve spent watching and rewatching your videos, to perfect my runs on zf/mara etc. Big thank you for making clear and informative guides that cover all the bases.
Arlaeus also addendum, toggling lore walk super important for that bridge jump I must have watched one of your later more advanced videos for ZG because I had to figure that out on my own. I’m sure you mentioned it in an earlier video when the ZG farm was relatively new.
Does any1 else use school wheel up and down and click it in too sheep thing .. I'm using scroll up trinket scroll down will of forsaken.. click I sheep. This allows me to instantly escape sheeps or fears etc and sheep enemy's quickly ... I move zoom in and out to up and down on keyboard cause they ain't used much
Why not leave the the so called "Oh shit Sprites" at the kill phase spot and do a loop and grab them IF you get low on mana. You run passed them anyway to reset after so if you don't need the extra mana during the kill phase you can just kill them then. Then you will never need to fish for clearcasting procs
Tintin has a good idea. I like 2 down 1 up, but it helps a lot. I really focus on the kill phase in this video showing exactly how to do the pull and what you need to alter.
It's just for the intro, sorry about that! It's fixed after that, but I didn't redo the intro because the intro was recorded immediately following testing.
@@arlaeus9491 I keep running into an issue at the top of the green slime waterfall (the room right before you drop off the edge and evocate) where the mobs are catching up to me and destroying me. I have the boot run speed enchant. Is there some trick to out running the mobs here? Is Zanza necessary to stay out in front of them? Seeing a pull without Zanza would be very helpful.
@@arlaeus9491 You can't route yourself the same way as this video without a zanza or you get rekt. you either need more blinks, more novas, more coc's, or a tighter route.
It isnt impossible, plenty of people were doing this run before zanzas were even in the game. It is much easier, much less stressful, and not expensive to buy the zanzas though.
rank 10 mage glove for the extra mana shield absorb also good. great vid as always also, u might wana get the polychromatic-visionwrap from ubrs, great farm chest with 20 all resists, heres the item link classic.wowhead.com/item=12609/polychromatic-visionwrap
This is VERY difficult without Zanza... especially in the place when you rank 1 blizzard the slimes... coldsnap and 2nd frost nova or grenade may help, but this run should be recommended ALWAYS with the speed buff IMHO.
You say you got 376 mobs yesterday but that is a lie, you are including critters in that count I saw it live yesterday and I do not appreciate you falsely advertsing a feat you did not actually accomplish - you shoud not be lying to your community, please edit your description

When people are running through they’re hitting critters along the way with arcane explosion, so when others say “340” or any other number they’re inclusive of it as well. On a typical pull this can easily be 5+. Yes I was killing several extra for fun along the way, but it’s moreso to show that you can reach large kill counts. I didn’t say “359 of them were regular mobs,” but that’s not false advertising either as the official mobs killed per the NIT report was 376. Sorry that you feel as though that was false advertising, but I won’t be updating the description this close to the publishing date as it will mess with the videos status.

Yup 100% can! and yes you can use cold snap. at 54 it's beneficial to have it at the kill phase, but it's not 100% necessary

if you have blink, u can blink while you knock out
Good video. GREAT RNG on this one, no knock downs or slows on all the close calls
So the stuns/knock downs shouldn't happen often, especially during the 200 pull. Make sure to use block and cancel block if you need to get out of it!

Probably about 70g/hr no boosting. Boostees enter purple portal and that's it!

Don't be afraid to let your blizzard channel until completion. I kept making the mistake of not completing my casts while I was still learning.

Hey man it’s happened twice or so to me, but I’m not sure what causes it sorry!
Its an annoying bug, to fix it you have to remove all absorbs and once you reapply it shouldnt happen anymore

imo the staff is a little over rated. Buy 2 NR rings and maybe pickup some drops from mara bosses and you're good
If you have other NR it’s not a big deal. Previously NR was decently difficult to come by

Fix your sound, your way louder on the left side than right side, maybe just go with mono

If you bring your mic to your face and turn it down you won't hear the room as much.

@@arlaeus9491 I keep running into an issue at the top of the green slime waterfall (the room right before you drop off the edge and evocate) where the mobs are catching up to me and destroying me. I have the boot run speed enchant. Is there some trick to out running the mobs here? Is Zanza necessary to stay out in front of them? Seeing a pull without Zanza would be very helpful.
@@arlaeus9491 You can't route yourself the same way as this video without a zanza or you get rekt. you either need more blinks, more novas, more coc's, or a tighter route.

If you do it with zanza you get used to it. My bro can't go back to no zanza, but I do no zanza all day with no problem.
yah, you *NEED* zanza pot for this....impossible otherwise when learning the pull
It isnt impossible, plenty of people were doing this run before zanzas were even in the game. It is much easier, much less stressful, and not expensive to buy the zanzas though.

This is VERY difficult without Zanza... especially in the place when you rank 1 blizzard the slimes... coldsnap and 2nd frost nova or grenade may help, but this run should be recommended ALWAYS with the speed buff IMHO.

boosting hurts the wow community more than it helps. a big portion of the mage gold earned is used to buy black lotuses, which bots are a big part of.

You say you got 376 mobs yesterday but that is a lie, you are including critters in that count I saw it live yesterday and I do not appreciate you falsely advertsing a feat you did not actually accomplish - you shoud not be lying to your community, please edit your description

When people are running through they’re hitting critters along the way with arcane explosion, so when others say “340” or any other number they’re inclusive of it as well. On a typical pull this can easily be 5+. Yes I was killing several extra for fun along the way, but it’s moreso to show that you can reach large kill counts. I didn’t say “359 of them were regular mobs,” but that’s not false advertising either as the official mobs killed per the NIT report was 376. Sorry that you feel as though that was false advertising, but I won’t be updating the description this close to the publishing date as it will mess with the videos status.
