We've been doing pantry challenges for awhile really does help having a full pantry. We've have been doing check by check to pay bills our grocery bill has been 25$ a week. Lately I've been blessed by my mom that been helping my family out with grocery. She will either help me out with gas money or grocery the past few weeks she been helping us out with grocery so We've been very bless. When I'm working our budget is at 100$ but when I'm not working it been less. We are getting by definitely does help to have a full pantry. We've had to cut heat down but lucky we have a wood stove to keep us warm.
I love pantry cooking! I have apples I need to use so may fry them like you did. I live on Hilton Head Island and we are supposed to get snow this week. I’ve lived here for 35 years and we have only gotten snow once. I’m going to hunker down because I just bought a new car and I don’t want to end up in the ditch. Thanks for sharing your ideas!
Im from NY when i was 14 we moved to NC. My dad is from there. And it snowed a little bit. Everything was shut down and o remember going to my dad "why was school closed theres no snow?" He goes "well you see that puddle, thats the snow". Thats when he explained that southern states arent equiped for the snow cuz its very rare. Being 14 it blew my mind lol.
I feel for ya. I live in Michigan an am used to very heavy snow, winds, sleet, etc. We are going into deep snow storms, with high winds, heavy snow and windchills of below zero. .🌧🌨❄☃️☄🌀❄ Thses are great pantry and freezer meals..
Mandy love watching your videos but if you call that being snowed in, I’d like to invite you to CT to see 6-10” of snow. Now that’s being snowed in. I’ve become an expert at making something from nothing. Keep up the good work. ❣️
I was confused when you said you were snowed in.😉I'm from Iowa. For you guys not being use to it don't have the road equipment for snow either but isn't it pretty?! I could handle a pantry challenge.
When I lived in Utah, I ended up with 4 feet of snow on my roof (in 12 hours) that we had to shovel off to keep the roof from collapsing! That was about 35 years ago.
We live in the south, we are "snowed in" if we get any snow. It's pretty uncommon to get much snow, I'm in Alabama, we recently got 4 inches and we couldn't travel for 2 days. We simply aren't equipped to deal with snow. It's always a magical experience for us not accustomed to getting snow❤
Why do Northerners do this? Do y'all realize that much of the South doesn't get snow ? When it happens, it becomes an event. Last Tuesday, New Orleans received nearly 10 inches of snow. That's not normal! So YES! This woman was snowed in. Do we make sly comments when you get the occasional heatwaves or hurricanes in your area? NO! We wish for better conditions.
I was shocked at the amount of snow the south got. I will take back a comment I had made. Iowa gets awful humidity in the summer and hear all the time, You don't know what humidity is until you've lived in the south. No I don't and don't want to. I hate humidity! It gets nasty up here. We get corn sweat and it's real and it is very unpleasant. So all over the US many are going to compare their weather but nobody will compare it to the western US fire season.
