That was very well done. This match demonstrates why tactics and strategy matter. The left side had less superweapon action at the start yet won because the right side couldn't hit them hard enough to beat them into the ground.
It also felt like Cheesybutterfly never made full use of his generals strength. You never saw more than 5 tanks on his front. In conclusion E1A2's economy was never really in danger. Since minute 10:00 he constantly was at a 20k or above income. Which allowed him to stress Cheesybutterfly's front and help out in the south whenever needed. Best chance for the right side team to win was arround 14 minutes where MTKing was nearly bombed out of the game. A really fun match to watch.
One thing that seems weird about Gen Evo, i guess just like classic Generals, is that offensive capabilities of units seem so much stronger than defensive capablities. Like i wonder what the dynamics are if every unit had DOUBLE the health. Its just feels so bad, seeing someone with a massive army on the offense and they can barely breach the front door before it all vanishes in AOE dmg.
That was my first impression of Generals. Every MiG strike is a nuke strike. Mammoth tanks (or whatever they're called) are obliterated in seconds. Rocket buggies counter everything. Unlimited internet centers! Still, there's a satisfaction in mass destruction. Oh, and too bad there are no commandos. Black Lotus would shake things up.
