Your videos are incredible !! And if you could to answer one question of mine it would be great. I can't find what is the use of the pipe that is placed on Machine bottom part. It appears on your video at 5.10. We see it on overhauling. At spare parts haves it as pipe. Is it to fill th bowl with water???
Hello as i see this is the vertical shaft inside which transfer rotation to the bowl. Here in the video it shows complete .

Hello inside bowl the pressure is close to outlet pressure which each purifier is specified to be working .
So calculate in Mitsubishi Purifiers there is 0.15Mpa which must be enough to push back to Service Fuel Oil Tank.
Dis sludging take place for a short time of millions seconds at the end of the programme. Bowl will open and all dirty will be thrown to peripheral which will lead sludges to sludge tank.
The main part is missing in this animation is the left hand threaded lock nut after removing the cap but
What is that arrangement with spring at 2.55 and what purpose does it serve??

Hello mike, i.ve got a question for you, can you tell me what type of pumps are used for the recirculation of lub oil for the main engine? Im talking about the ones which are located next to the flywheel(main engine lub oil pumps) and also can you tell me the name of one( like manufacturer and more ) because i want to study them in close. Thank you so much!
Hello Geeor this pumps on the flywhell is centrifugal pumps called Main lub oil pumps.This pumps have a big consumption of power.The work of this pumps is to keep a constant pressure in the line so lunrication take place in varius components of engine from crankshaft ,camshaft,allthe bearing,chains etc.In case that pressure will go down engine will ne shut down by engine safety system.Other info about this pump is that have big weight and long base inside sump the rpm are steady.In korean ships i will find korean made motors and pumps in most cases but some times motor is korean and pump will be japanese.Thanks!
@@Adventure-Story Its positive displacement gear or screw type pump, not centrifugal p/p, to maintain constant pressure its also important to maintain the filters also, always have to keep an eye to the motor load ampere not only the pressure gauge or filter clean level gauge, thank you, pumps manufacturers are from germany, japan, croatia, denmark, polland, italy, and they are very common, motor's manufacturer is mostly ABB, Siemens, Denso, bosch from various country
Mostly used onboard are centrifugal pumps including lube oil pumps.Gear pump or screw pump are rarely used.. maybe u just experience it by your own but not by everybody and please, if u correct the uploader explain it in a pleasant manner. Ok

sir, explain about Gravity disc and working principle of gravity disc.
Gravity disc will been selected depending on fuel density and separating temperatures. Always read the manual before do anything.
Also there is difference between manufacturers.

Hello Vaisakh if i understand correct you mean pilot valves .The purpose of this valves is to open and close bowl with sliding piston moving up and down at adjusted time.The opening of bowl is necessary to discharge any heavy deposites accumulated through cleaning process inside bowl.
the valve plugs will seal the drain ports.. so that the bowl will close...
I have a problem in my alfa laval purifier. Why is it that the bowl is always discharging? Then the discharge pressure drops and it stops the purifier. I hope you can help me. Thanks.

Yes sure there is always this possibility if purifier is not adjusted properly and interface will move to centrifugal pump.Thats why is really important to check service and settling tk for any moisture and water collected.

Hello dear friend ,
Discharge operation is activated by water supply from solenoid system and control unit time is pre set so there is correct amount of water.Watet can be traced from drain which is located close to purifier also you are able to measure the quantity of water supplied for each operation.
The only thing you need is a buckey and watch.Hope this help you!
@@Adventure-Story question Sir, the operating slide is very hard and thick and is secured with big nut. How does it move up and manage to close the bowl? Does a hard metal part become flexible because of centrifugal force? is there any law about centrifugal force that can explain further? thanks and hope you can help me
@@guigiburze3553 Hello as i have seen most of purifiers are closing with water coming from the bottom .Metal parts are difficult to bend or have flexibility.
Water apply from the bottom and move the sliding piston and seal with teflon surfaces the bowl. This is the most common operating principle.

@@guigiburze3553 Yes it bends, it is secured with a nut so it can't move up and down but it deforms/bends during discharge

Sir, why only 3 friction pad is provided when there are more slots in a purifier friction boss .
In case this slots will brake you can use the other one.
its depend on which power supply you are using..50hz or 60hz..
