Today I want to explore every magical room in the Madrigal’s Casita! Why are these rooms created? What are the rules that govern them? And of course what is in each family member’s room?

Abuela didn’t actually receive a gift- she just got the candle. What if Mirabel is next matriarch of the Madrigals? What if she’ll get her door when Abuela dies as Mirabel takes over?
I think she already got her door at the end of the movie. When the family gave her the door knob for the whole house. Her gift is the house. So, you are right! She will be the matriarch that succeeds Abuela
or she did get her own room of her own as eveyone got their back.
The family gets rooms but Mirabel gets the whole house
I also like this idea, but I'm gonna add to it and say that a giftless child will be a cycle. Once the current head of the family starts to grow too old, a new giftless child will be born to learn from them and take over the position in time.

I read from Reddit that Camilo's room might have shapeshifting abilities too. During his lines in 'We Don't Talk About Bruno', we see Mirabel and Camilo in a dark chamber as to where we can assume reflects the 'scary/weird' description they give Bruno. We can also note that Camilo was able to control the floors they were standing when it became sand. Mirabel probably asked Camilo about their uncle in his room which allowed him to provide an immersive answer to Mirabel.

I imagined Isabela's room is now a tropical garden. After discovering her new potential, she realized that she is capable of growing more than just flower. Full of trees, cactuses, orchids with a mix of garden flowers.
She seems to love cactuses so maybe her new room has some of them
I also have this theory that Mirabel's gift is to managed the magic and it is represented by the yellow butterfly. Imagine if Mirabel can produce an endless yellow butterflies inside the room of Isabela.

Let’s be honest. We’d all love a mini-series about everyone’s rooms before and after they rebuild casita. I think encanto could have easily been just as successful as a tv series. But I still love the movie.

@@PK-Radio Honestly, I don't know. Alma was super toxic and all, so I think the before and after would be different. Just that heir rooms might remind them of worse days. I probably am not explaining it well, but TBH I feel like a new house, new perspectives, new rooms. I dunno.
Omg ibwas thinking the same thing because I could easily see them having a very successful TV show on Disney+ because each character has a very fun personality.

@@hollyforman9637 I agree. I think their original rooms that were shown in the movie (aside from Antonio's) were heavily focused on their burdens. Bruno's stairs, abuela's exact replica of the room she her of shared with the husband she lost, Isabella's "pretty and perfect" room. Now I think their rooms will have the purpose of letting them to relax and not a reminder of their duty and the expectations of others. Plus I don't think Disney would leave the doors unmarked at the end and not have a significant meaning to it.
I low key feel like Delores’s room should have a theater of some sort. She would like telenovelas just like Bruno’s rat ones. She could also calm down with musical theatre and the instruments.
With soundproofing and a soft noise-maker around her bed, so she can sleep.

I actually have this theory that Abuelo’s spirit is the house. When he died and the candle formed, a house did show up. It can’t be a coincidence that all of that happened like right after he died.

Agreed. It even has similar personality traits to him. He's goofy, energetic, protective, and loving. The casita embodies this and it has a different relationship with every member of the family. With abuela it helps her keep order in the house and dicipline the kids. When Mirabel was being disruptive at breakfast it moved her beside abuela so she could keep order, something the abuelo of a family would do. With Mirabel and Antonio it's silly and fun but also firm and parental. It reminds them they're late and makes them get up and go but it does so in a fun way that makes them laugh. It protect Bruno and gives him a place to live, understanding that he had to leave and caring for him anyway. And with the town it is a nice host, taking everyone's hats, turning food on the grill, and keeping the kids away from Antonio's door by playing with them. All things I think Abuelo would've done if he were there.

Originally Dolores had Julietas food gift and in deleted scene “cleaning the house” we see inside her room, so I imagine Julietas room is similar to that one.

Actually after the cracks are first seen , When Julieta and Mirabel are talking, her room is seen
I feel that Louisa's room would be strongly influenced to Greek/Roman mythology. Her song pulls from Hercules, Atlus, and even has a cloudy portion that could represent Asgard. A heaven and earth inspired place.

I adore that Mirabel wasn’t given a power and was denied a room. She deeply felt not being special and was even told that she wasn’t special (by powerless villagers btw!) but ultimately her power was that she never needed a power. Her magic was like abuelas, it came from love. Abuela saw herself in Isabella but it was Mirabel all along. The leader. Her power was being able to see the cracks. The foundation 🥲

i always pictured that Camilos room would have mirrors AND a stage in it so he could act on the stage as well as in front of the mirrors, he seems to be the type to want attention even though he doesn't seem to get it often. i think he'd love to act out personas and people he knows on the stage.
Camilo and Bruno really both likes actung truly an unkle and grandson.
If you consider Meribel becoming the new matriarch of the family, it makes perfect sense that her "room" would be the house like at the end of the movie. If shes replacing Alma and Alma's room is a recreation of the room she shared with Pedro, then Maribel's room being the house is like an extension of Alma's room that is based on a house. It's kinda like that leader role becoming more involved with the family.
But I've never noticed the lack of set images on the door, it would be fun to see if the new magic would result in a refresh in everyones powers. Kinda makes you wonder how much casita/the magic knew about the future, like is Antonio still a child on his door because casita knew theres be a magic reset before Antonio reached a certain age? Did Maribel not receive her "room" because she hadn't yet "come of age" to play the role she was meant to? Also at the end of the movie Casita brings Maribel inside from OUTSIDE the house, did it always have power over the surrounding area like that or did it stop at the doorway before the magic was strengthened by the family coming together?

The family ate outside in a part of the movie, and Casita was still able go move the chairs and stuff. I assume that Casita is mostly just the house, but can do things all the way up to the property line.

@@patt5085 : No. Go back and look at the doors in the pictures on the wall when each child first got their doors. In each case, the figure of the child matches the size and look of the child at the time. Since the door is connected to the child, the image on the door ages with the child.
I like to think Mirabel chose to stay in the nursery and continued to help the young Madrigals grow into kind, empathetic people like she did with Antonio!
I think at first she wouldn't mind that. As she gets older though I think she would eventually want a room of her own. Keep in mind when her father and uncle married into the family they moved into the house and there wasn't any new room created meaning they share Julietta and Pepa's rooms. As the family continues to grow new rooms will be added.
I dont think any new Babys are coming that Soon. Abuela Said that the miracle happend 50 years ago, making the triplets 50. Alle the grandchildren do not seem ready for children and Antonio is already the youngest. Meaning the nursery will Most likely Not be needed as a nursery for a Long time

I actually wrote a fanfic where Mirabel gets her own room. It’s a basic room, but one that has plenty of space where people can talk. She alao has drawers full of thread and cloth for her embroidery. The other thing is that Mirabel gets her own candle as I think the Casita chose her to become the next matriarch.

I love the idea that she would have a comfy space for her family members to come and have heart to heart talks with her...or to just hang out, chill, and forget about the added pressures their gifts can bring about sometimes.
I imagine Dolores's room being a silent forest where she can relax from all the sounds and just listen to the birds chirping and the sound of a stream. I think it would be nice

I still find it messed up as Mirabel's parents left that girl without a room and stuck in the nursery. If the rooms are as large as we see with Antonio and Isabella's room then I wish she let her stay in there with her or Luisa did. I wish we did get to see inside everyone else's room though or at least the moms when she consoled Mirabel about seeing the cracks.

@@BabyGirlTiny I didn't say the house makes her a room I said her parents let her sleep in their room, if they are so large she can be in her own space within. Also it's not hard to build a little house or room nearby on the property to be something of her own.

@@filledwithsugarr cuz that's the life she would've had anyway with a bunch of kids as they enter the nursery the rest of her life if events didn't happen in the movie. Besides I'd rather have my own private room inside a sibling or parents room or my own little attachment. But I'm sure when they rebuilt they made her a room.
I think mirabel new room would be like her dress each thing of her family power would be in there like tons of plants and flowers from Isabella, stuff animals from Antonio and etc. but most importantly she would have her sewing kit to make fun things for her family and the community.
I had theory that after the house got its magic back that Mirabel would get a room aswell. Her room would be big and colorful with all of her craft supplies but still look like an ordinary bedroom (like Abuela's) but the special thing about Mirabel's room would be that it nullified the powers. As in like, none of the other Madrigals would be able to use their gifts in her room and Casita would also be able to do stuff in her room (since it can't affect the other magical rooms.) I thought this would be cool because its obvious in the movie that a.) The Madrigals felt slightly burdened by their gifts and b.) Mirabel adores her family so much that she'd be a safe place for them so I thought her room would be one to. A normal room where whoever enters it is just normal: Pepa doesn't have to worry about a cloud, Luisa has no expectations to be strong around Mirabel or Dolores can finally give her poor ears a rest because she'd hear like a normal person. This would also put them on the same playing field as Mirabel, being a normal person. I imagine that whenever someone was stressed or wanted to talk to Mirabel in a safe place where there were literally 0 expectations for them (cause they wouldn't be able to do anything) it'd be Mirabel's room.
I also like to imagine that Mira, Isa and Luisa would have a lot of sleepovers in each others room because they're closer than before and just wanna talk. Isa's room probably smells nice and they do a lot of plant things, Luisa only ever allows them into her amusment park and Mira's room is where they get to act like normal people and chill.

I imagine Mirabel's room would have a gigantic family tree mural that would grow with each new generation, and the walls will keep getting taller as she ages to accommodate all of her grandchildren
I love the concept of Camilo’s room. I also like the idea that there’s also an infinite walk-in closet in Camilo’s room so he can try on all these different outfits in his many forms.
I like that idea but if he transform into a person his clothes turn into the clothes the person wears
You know what I think Isaac? I think out of all the Magic powers of each character from the Disney animation films, Encanto was able to set the traditional example of how it uses magic to captivate the hearts & minds of families alike!
I like how abuela’s room is just like her room before they left; a way for her to continue the life she left even though it’ll be incomplete.
Mirabel’s gift would be to mend anything. As she could mend the magic, and the relationships within her family. It would be a very vibrant room, filled with crafts and sewing supplies.

I imagine Mirabel’s room would be, like Abuela’s,, a regular, “ordinary” room with no specific magical component. But yes, there probably would be pictures and/or reminders of her family, and a place to keep her sewing.
I like to think that Camilo’s room, along with mirrors, might also have a blackbox theater.
My theory is also that Camilonhas a room full of mirrors, but not necessarily for practice. My head canon is that they are there to always show him who he truly is so that he doesn't forget.
I got this head canon from reading the w.i.t.c.h comics.
There is this issue in the witch comics where a girl have this ability to change her appearence, the thing is, she doesn't always control it, but somehow, people who know her doesn't notice that she's changing, it is just completely normal, as if she always looked like she does in that moment.
And the sad thing is, she doesn't remember how her true self looks, until she gets help from the w.i.t.c.h girls.
So that is why I belive, Camilonis granted a room with thruthfull mirrors.

@@harukagic but it’s the fact that she had no errors anywhere else that weirds me out
I think Mirabel's room would have her craft supplies, a be very colorful. I also think it would have maps, pictures, and things to remind her of the journey she went through to save casita and her Family's magic. Mirabel seems very adventurous and caring towards her family. We see want to help and participate even without a gift. I think it would be colorful and filled with everything to remind her of just how special she is and everyone she loves. Maybe even a river since their magical encanto was gifted to them at a river and it was the same river where Mirabel was found by Abuela after casita collapsed.
For Mirabel's room I like to think that her door dissappeared because the whole Casita became her room.
If she represent the magic, love and bonds of the family and the Casita/Candel is the thing that gives the magic and holds them together, then it would make sense the all of the space out side of the her family's rooms became her room.
This driven home by how she interacts with the Casita most and how she talks to it. It is also backed up (in my mind) by the ending when she put the door nob on the front door at the end.
She was chosen by the Casita to become the heart of the family and so she didn't need a special room all to her self cos that would be isolating her self away from the family. Instead, the house that connects all her family's room together became her room even the nursey that still housed the youngest of the family Antonio who didn't have his gift yet could be given courage and comfort by Mirabel while waited for his gift. By that's just how I see it 😅
I would love if Encanto has a sequel or a TV show, to show everything we are questioning. But I like how they left things for the imagination too.
Me too. I dont mind having things left to interpretation, but at the same time it bothers me that Mirabel never had a sspaced of her own. I dont understand how people are okay with her having the whole house, cause life everyone else she needs a space to just be herself and relax. I mean come one why does she go tromping up on the roof if not just to get away from it all for 5 minutes. I need to known if she got that space.
I always thought that each gift was there to help the encanto village grow
Pepa would help with crops
Juielta would heal others
Bruno would warn people of dangers
I havent thought of one for isabella or dolores
Louisa would be the backbone to help with manual labour
Camillo was to keep everyone laughing to make the village happy
Antonio would protect people from animals
Since Isabella can now grow everything she can help make crops grow with Pepa.
Dolores could hear if someone is in trouble or hurt
Dolores hears the problems arising in the village which allows the family to react accordingly
Isabella's power over plant life means she can theoretically also help with crops, boost morale with flowers, dissuade insects with natural insecticides like sundews, create clothing material from plants like cotton, create building material from trees, and even a water supply in the case of drought with cacti. So like resource replenishment?
Dolores could hear a threat coming so they could defend themselves or if a child was lost, she'd be able to find them.
Isabella also could help with crops. All fruits are flowering plants.
Mirabel is extremely insightful and pushes people to break past their trauma so they can be their best self. Not just her sisters, her grandmother and even her cousin when he was afraid. I also think she caused her father to stand up for her when he's usually very unassuming and meek.
Pepa and isabela would be a team to help with crops. Pepa would bring a good climate and isabela would help to grow the fruits and vegetables beautifully and faster.
I'm in the process of writing a fanfic and I imagine Camilo's room to be what seems to be a normal room (decorations based on his character) when you enter it, but either:
A) A tall mirror that's a "doorway" to the main attraction: A room which can be _anything_ with the snap of his fingers
B) The same concept as A, but the normal room can shapeshift into what Camilo wishes
Bruno's room is one of the best metaphor for his role within the family and how he feels about it. He's "the one who left" (actual defined role within a family structure) but he's also the one who differentiated from his family. His room puts emphasis on his different view of the world, his separation is both physical and mental. Also, the dry, rocky and sandy style underline the loneliness of his position. About the endless stairs (and the sign saying "your futur awaits), I think it could be an unconscious choice from Bruno so people would leave him alone. He's an oracle, his gift would be one everybody, much like what happens with Luisa, would want to make use of and it would quickly become a burden.
In the end, I feel like he helped Mirabel perhaps more out of love for his family than because he wanted to save the magic. Who would want to keep a power that's a curse more than a gift? When he left and hid his vision, it was because he understood that this vision would make his niece miserable and others would fear her or maybe hurt her out of fear of loosing their magic. Perhaps that could have happened, he had no way to know for sure. Yet he chose to save her because he loved her and the magic be damned. When Abuela claims Bruno didn't care about their family, the ironic truth is he cared more than her... He's one of the best characters in recent Disney movies ❤️
I read the wiki and it said one of the writers said Delores probably has partial soundproofing, but maybe that would be around her bed so she can sleep.

Operating on the "Mirabel is future matriarch" theory, I picture Mirabel having something in her room that monitors the Madrigals. For example, a giant quilt hanging on a wall that depicts the family, and the colors or expressions shift based on how they feel at that moment.
I like the idea for Dolores' room! I think that her room would be a little sound muffling though, at least near her bed, so that she can't hear all the way to the mountains when she's trying to sleep
Pepa having a cloud room where it can withstand any of her moodswings sounds a perfect place for her since i have a feeling pepa had a storm when giving birth to camilo, dolores and antonio
I think that for Mirabel her room would be like a old fashioned art studio of sorts with all sorts of supplies for her crafts
Maybe Dolores’ room was initially soundproof, but that disappeared over time as Casita began to crumble and the family grew more divided. Just a thought
i think in mirabels room, there would be a section for each of her family members, and then room for her craft supplies and stuff. like there would be a section of mirrors for camilo, music stuff for dolores, flowers for isabella, boulders or games for luisa, a garden for julieta, clouds for peppa, tropical trees for antonio. And then she could have her space for her crafts and it would be colorful (like you said) and it would reflect her personality as well

@@lindseymilliken2346 That makes a fair bit of sense but what if her purpose was to solidify the magic so that she could earn her place as candleholder.
I think his spirit helped to create the magic because his sacrifice saved his family. Near the end of the movie Abuela says "I asked my Pedro for help, Mirabel he sent me you!!" I think that one line says a lot.
The grandfather who died made the magic because when the grandmother was in a state of peril From the grandfather dying the magic was formed in a state of peril when they really needed it
Personally, I think Camilo's room would be a huge library. Fantasy books fill the shelves for him to read and imangine characters and personas from.

Finally someone said that! I see a lot of people saying that his room is all mirrors, and honestly this seems a little scary for a 15-year-old who probably has some identity crises... Just as Dolores deserves a soundproof room to escape so much noise or Isabela who, in her music, showed that she prefers a room with different plants than something "perfect", Camilo deserves a room where he can escape reality and just be Camilo, _a simple 15 year old boy_ who loves his family and still has a lot to discover in himself. Books seem like a good thing for this and it's good for his imagination and characters/transformations
(Of course mirrors also make sense, I'm not saying he can't see himself because he needs to remember his own image and have confidence, but a room *made* of them just looks incomplete. Anyway it's just my opinion :))

This is really awesome to see more behind the scenes on what each Madrigal Family room looks like because for a while the only room we physically saw were Antonio, Isabela and Bruno's room but no so much the other rooms from the other Family members Like Luisa, Abuela Alma or Camilo. Imagine if Encanto became a world in Kingdom Hearts and does an original story we can explore the other rooms of the Family Madrigal.

Would be fun to see that Mirabel’s room has something from each one of the family members in the magical side where she can explore and get ideas from to make her crafts!
Yeah I thought the same, I imagined that Mirabel's room would be a huge room with arts and crafts, buttons and yarn and fabric flooring. The idea being that Mirabel is someone who patches up bonds with others or can connect and understand them through her own unique way. Or an alternate theory being she has a bunch of present boxes with different surprises in them 😭 I don't know why I feel like that fits her personality. The unpredictability of what lies inside but requires some work to find value in.
It kinda reminds me of Brave, you know, *mending* the bond, that's what I think at least.
I like the idea that Mirabel did get a gift, and her gift was communicating with the house and like the house keeping the family together. After all she is the only one that addresses Casita directly. That's why her door disappears into the wall. The house IS her room, and that's why she stays in the nursery. I think Mirabel's room would be the only room Casita can still effect. So she could craft things with Casita and have the same mobility around her space as everyone else without the need of powers.

I kinda wish you had factored in how Felix and Agustin’s presences would have altered Pepa and Julieta’s rooms. Those ideas might be fine for just them, but I feel Casita would have adjusted the rooms slightly to make life more comfortable for both inhabitants.
Personally I believe that Mirabell's room will be crafty and decorative, but also filled with love, pictures and reminders of her family. If you get what I mean
I like the theory that the rooms can change afterwards, and that got my thinking on how the rooms could change. While Antonio’s room may very well be identical, I suspect Bruno and Isabella’s rooms will be drastically different. Perhaps Bruno’s room could be more like it’s original concept, being more of a cathedral. This shows how he is now more connected to the family (literally, as churches are meant to be visited) but still keeps a prophetic vibe. As for Isabella, I like the idea that instead of a flowery palace room, it instead changes into more of a cottage core terrarium, where plants of all types can grow, as well as showing her becoming more expressive of her true self.
Yes the gifts are based behind their personalities, some of their gifts are also connected to nature (Antonio - animals, Pepa - Weather. Isabella - Flowers) Much like Elsa from Frozen.
Doloris does have some sensitivity side effects to her hearing like during Antonio’s gift ceremony, she covered her ears

Here's something I hardly see anyone talking about is how EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY tied thier entire selfworth to thier gift alone. Their ENTIRE IDENTITY is tied to their gift. Hell we have three songs that spell that out but we see it with the characters who don't get a song about them. Pepe is constantly reminded how the family needs her to be constantly happy or the crops will die. Camio is the jokester and someone who can LITERALLY be anyone they need. But even that has it's limits, he most likely can't copy the gifts of others. Just the appearance and voice. Luisa's entire strong is not being vulnerable or weak. Isabel is counted on to make everything perfect no matter how much she feels like screaming. Her mother can only fix physical pain and illness, but she can't fix emotional or mental health issues. Bruno was scapegoated and treated as a myartr for everything that when wrong to the point he's the Colombian version of Voldemort and Harry Potter. Poor Antonio... I can only imagine how he would have grown up if things were different. Probably would be torn between preventing animals and their families deaths, the greif that goes with it, and helping his family.
I feel pretty bad for Dolores imagine having to hear EVERYTHING every single member of your in doing ALL THE TIME.....got too be awkward considering she has so many younger family members and had to be there for the......"process"😅😆 of them all being made😉😂😂😂

I know the door of the Casita has all the family members on it at the end, but I think it's interesting that it's Mirabel's doorknob, though the M also stands for Madrigal. To me, I believe Mirabel's room is the whole Casita, as she brings everyone together. She has a space for herself as well, but her power, so to speak, is her unique vision and connection to the others. So that expresses itself best in the shared living areas. That's how I interpreted the ending, though I do think this interpretation has issues and it would be healthy for Mirabel to have her own room :)

What if Pepa's room is just a normal room because a big one stresses her out? Maybe she had a giant space as a kid but once she married, it turned into a room for both her and Felix to be comfortable.
I like your ideas and I'm of a similar mind but you based your ideas completely on the idea that the rooms have to have a big space because ✨magic✨ when that might not be the case, especially for Pepa and Julieta because they are married. The rooms might have become normal bedrooms to accommodate both couples.
Though I am currently obsessed with the idea that when Alma dies, her door changes to feature Mirabel because that's the specific Matriarch room.

These theories are all really good! But personally my favorite is Dolores’s. As a person who’s mom and dad are a cellist and violinist, I love music and it’s really calming to me. I think it’s really nice that Dolores’s room could be a place for her to relax.
I imagine somthing like a Therapy Room with various items to insure comfort, where people and family can come and feel safe, private, and comfortable to discuss their problems, concern's, or needs.
Mirabel rubbed casita's magic on herself instead of the door knob as shown during her gift ceremony... her mood affected the magic... when she was sad because she was not in the family portrait the house cracked... when she was happy with isabella the cracks were mended, when she was nervous at the family dinner it cracked again, and when abjuela blamed her for breaking the magic the house was broken because she felt broken
The creators already said that the hand rubbing had nothing to do. Her hands get sweaty when she's nervous, that's all.
I have the head canon that the miracle needs a physical tie to the world. It came in the candle to Abuela Alma, but it was tied to Alma by her love for Pedro. The magic knew Abuela isnt going to live forever, knew the family was becoming side tracked or lost on the path they needed to be on, and the house needed to figure out who was going to be its next physical tie to the world.
When Mirabel touched her door, the magic recognized that she had the leadership qualities the family needed. She didnt get a power, because the seed and bond of the miracle was put inside her.
I think that the family, moving forward, is always going to have 1 person who isnt magical, like Alma and Mirabel, because it needs them as the physical tie to keep the magic in the world, and that those people are the ones who will end up being the heads or leaders of the family moving forward.

Ever since I watched this movie I've been wondering something: Does Casita give them bathrooms as well or do they all share one? I imagine it'd be a nightmare for those who have big rooms (Antonio, Bruno, Isabella) to have to get from their beds all the way to the family bathroom

I imagine Mirabel’s room as a sort of place where she can express her crafts due to how creative she is. Where it’s filled with colorful and vibrant murals of her and her family and other random doodles. There would also be rows of fabrics and cloth as well as shelves filled with lots of different art supplies. As well as other things.
But would mostly resemble an art studio in my opinion.

I think Pepa’s room would have an open field were she could test out different types of weathers. I also think that seeing as her gift is that her mood affects the weather, her mood would also affect the weather in her room.

I picture Dolores’s room as a meditation space. A big arena with a stage in the middle, with bubbling fountains making a gentle trickling sound, a light breeze sounding some wind chimes, and lots of candles and scarves. Maybe a big gong in the middle.
Mirabel got her door- it's the door to Casita. Even though she didn't have "powers", the house always was responsive to her, and it's her touch that rekindles Casita's magic.

However, when he is upset and isn't in the mood to be anything but that, his room has a sinking bed and changes more harshly. The mirrors possibly also change!!!! Maybe they can form a maze when he feels confused.

I imagine Camilo's room as a seemingly never-ending closet (with lots of mirrors). So then, he could immitate other people's appearances, but also experiment with entirely new ones.

I love that you’re doing this! My son and I watched last night and agreed that more of this is what was missing from Encanto. More of the gifts and quirks of the characters that make the Madrigals special without or without magic (less frenetic choreography and flashback). I think the front door being Mirebel’s signifies that Casita is her “room.” She understands the miracle better than all of them so is the new matriarch, the biggest gift and biggest responsibility of all.
We already know that Bruno's room is based off of Los Estoraques, Isabela's room is based off of El Festival de las Flores & Antonio's room is based off of El Bosque Chocó. Here's what I think each of the other magical rooms would be based off of;
*Julieta:* La Laguna Guatavita
*Pepa:* El Santuario de Las Lajas
*Dolores:* La Catedral de Sal de Zipaquirá
*Luisa:* La Ciudad Perdida

Mirabel didn’t have a room before because there was, literally and figuratively, no place for her in the family. Now that they’ve accepted her, she will have a room of her own, likely with sofas for any stressed family visitors.
