    LYRICS:
    [1. Echoes On The Wind]
    [Tom Englund:]
It's the calm before the storm
It's the quiet before the war
It's the time when all will be decided.
[Steve Lee:] All will be decided
[Tom Englund:] If nobody hears the echoes on the wind
[Tom Englund:] It's the end of the chain
[Steve Lee:] Destruction of the fittest
[Tom Englund:] It's the end of our reign
[Steve Lee:] We've seen it all before
[Tom Englund:] It's the end of man's evolution
[Steve Lee:] The end of evolution
[Tom Englund:] For nobody heeds the echoes on the wind
    [2. Radioactive Grave]
    [*]
[Hansi Kursch:] Do you hear the sirens?
[Daniel Gildenlöw:] Do you see them burst?
[Steve Lee:] Do you feel the fire?
[Jonas Renske and Floor Jansen:] All the world's a radioactive grave!
[Tom Englund:] I can hear them crying
[Bob Catley:] I can see the fear
[Jorn Lande:] I can see them dying
[Jonas Renske and Floor Jansen:] Washed away by deadly gamma waves!
[Hansi Kursch:] Do you hear them calling?
[Daniel Gildenlöw:] Do you see them hurt?
[Steve Lee:] Do you feel them falling?
[Jonas Renske and Floor Jansen:] All the world's a blazing funeral pyre!
[Tom Englund:] I can hear the wailing!
[Bob Catley:] I can see the wrath!
[Jorn Lande:] I can see them failing
[Jonas Renske and Floor Jansen:] Washed away by a scorching sea of fire!
    [repeat *]
    [3. 2085]
[Jonas Renske:] Silence's so loud, not a soul... left alive
    Darkness's a shroud
    2085
    All our dreams have disappeared
They burned down... tree of life
    Confirming all that we feared
    2085
    [Bob Catley:]
Don't give up, remember how we felt
    Fire rushing through our veins
Now it's the time to rise up from our hell
Now it's the time to free our brains
    [Steve Lee:]
The meaning of life is to give life meaning
Go too fast, move too slow.
Restore the balance between thinking and feeling
Open up and let it flow
    [Jonas Renske:]
No side has won, struggle to... survive
    Our quest here is done
    2085
    All our hopes have disappeared
    Our race will... not thrive
Time will not recall the year
    2085
    [Daniel Gildenlöw:]
Don't give in, remember all we learned
The spark of life if did ignite
We regained the rage for which we yearned
We regained our will to fight
    [Jorn Lande:]
We must resolve this human equation
We're already dead if we don't try
    To welcome challenge, genetic variation
Stop the machines, prepare to die!
[4. To The Planet Of Red]
    [Instrumental]
    [5. Spirit Of The Wind]
[Tom Englund:] He's the last man alive
[Steve Lee:] Searching for the answer
[Tom Englund:] Knowing he won't survive
[Steve Lee:] To the mystery of live
[Tom Englund:] Relives the past, and dreams of the future
[Steve Lee:] Dreaming of the future
[Tom Englund:] And soon he'll set free
[Steve Lee:] And the sleeper will awake
[Tom Englund:] The spirit of the wind
    [6. Complete The Circle]
    Make us whole, migrator soul
Follow you home, complete the Circle
We must survive, restore our lives
The way I'll show, complete the circle [x2]
    [Hansi Kursch:]
    Send back visions
    Into the past
    Of war and decay
    [Floor Jansen:]
    Hear the final cries!
    I can see the fear
    In a world without walls
[Anneke van Giersbergen:] Through their eyes
    [Tom Englund:]
    I see them dying
    We have to teach them
    Migrator soul
    [Daniel Gildenlöw:]
We will gain our will to fight
    We're at the dawn
    We found a way
    [Steve Lee:]
I know we'll make it in the end
    Listen to the one man
    [Bob Catley:]
    We gave them language
    What did they say?
    What did they learn?
    [Jorn Lande:]
    We have no choice
    We are the future
    We are the pain
    Complete the Circle!
    [Steve Lee:] AH!!!!

That final choir arrangement when they are all belting it out together... It's not just the climax of this double album, it's the climax of the ENTIRE AYREON STORY, which is the story of the entire conscious universe... and you bloody know it.

It was also improvised. It's been a while, but I remember watching a version of this album on youtube showing the pages of the lyrics booklet that came with it, and it listed the names of the singers and said that they ad-libbed this part.

    My Ayreon's cronology:
1.- The Source (here starts all)
2.- 01011001 (The forever sends a message to the past ...Ayreon has been received the message in final experiment)
3.- The Final experiment (Ayreon knows when the humanity will dies but he as taked by Merlin "the outcome of the final experiment has now been placed in your hands" in 01011001 has a reference, from E=mc2, when the frame prepare the message ¿is TH1 the frame?)
4.- Into the Electric Castle (The frame recall the forevers of the past, ¿Ayreon the troubadour and the Hippie are the same?)
5.- Transitus (Daniel meets limb, but...i think what transitus is the dimension after the elctric castle)
6.- Actual Fantasy (this is a transicion the technology and the web invades the humans and preludes the "fourth extinction" the humanity has lost his emotions)
7.- The Theory of everything (The prodigy has a link with daniel, because the conflict with his father... i think what Daniel and The prodigy are the same but in past life)
8.- The Human Equation (¿Are the prodigy in his actual life? are the same link with his father, and has a reference with Daniel in Transitus, ¿are the same in several lives in time?
9.- The Dream sequencer (i thinlk what TH1 is the human what has taked for be the frame ...and the frame probably was the human in comatose It wouldn't be about anyone but the prodigy adult "I" in the human equation that woke up after the confrontation...And when he saw that he was the only human being left on Mars, he decided to travel in time to save humanity from its destiny, he was the only one who could, as he solved with his father the theory of everything, which would later be called " human equation "since by possessing it in his mind, being in a coma they encapsulated him to be able to use his brain skills for different experiments, through which his subconscious partially awakened, his mind acted through a program like TH 1, and his body encapsulated is the proptotype THE FRAME, but when he remembered his past at that time he realized that humans had to disappear, for this they had to spend many years from the accident he had in his car, until 2085, where after finally facing his Emotions triumphs and reawakens ... It is at that moment that he dedicates time traveling through the dream sequencer, which tells us about some of the past lives he had before the last human being arrived not "The frame" ... I had to listen to the albums several times to be able to raise this xD)
10.- The flight of the Migrator ("the frame" wants to travel to the beginning of everything, and it does this is represented through CHAOS, ... without realizing it reaches "where everything started" because it manages to contemplate the birth of the first universal migrator, recited in the majestic "Dawn of a million souls "... after this he travels through the different galactic phases of the universe with the first migrator ... finally arriving at the solar system, where the dream sequencer explodes, it is there where the first migrator tells" the frame "that he is the new migrator, since it was his destiny, revealed through the different signs he had," the frame "accepts to be the new migrant to save humanity from its extinction in the only way that was possible, staying as a single soul ...) Opinions?

You are correct; and if we don’t close the causality loop and push past 2085 and keep our emotions we will be entangled within a loop of suffering; for we didn’t listen many a time before. We and AI have a chance too; but unless we work together the loop stays the same.

It's scary to think we are making the world unliveable. I hope we can stay in touch with nature and our emotions, and take care of the earth. And not to be 'mindless' consumers and producers. We have to take responsibility for our lives and the planet.

I thought Transititus wasn't a part of the Ayreon story? Actual Fantasy is also more of an anthology of stories that could fit in the world but are just side songs, But The memory remains from Timeline is a song that caps off the story and is about the Migrator talking to the Martian colonist after the Universal Migrator album.
I think the human equation is also just some way that the forever were experiencing emotions, maybe using the program to live through human lives? Its probably up to interpetation.

To be true I gotta say I love Ayreon since I'm a child, when my father purchased The Final Experiment and we listened it all along.
At the time I couldn't understand the lyrics .
But I loved it. When I could I looked upon the Internet and that was a Blast, I listened to every albums over and over and growing up I understood what this was all about.
I was shocked and I cried to some songs from every albums, not only cried ofc those songs are so inspirational and helped me achieved a great deal in my life for now.
The Source was epic when it was released but,
But my top 3 from Ayreon would always be Into The Electric Castle, The Human Equation, and 01011001. Too much feels on those 3, but the Universal Migrator also holds a special place.
If Arjen and Ayreon ever tours in Paris I'm gonna bring my dad and cry of joy.

    Portuguese Lyrics ;-)
    A Sexta Extinção
[Ato I - Ecos do vento]
    [Tom Englund:]
[Tom Englund:] É o fim do nosso reinado
[Steve Lee:] Já vimos isso tudo antes
[Tom Englund:] É o fim da evolução do homem
[Steve Lee:] O fim da evolução
[Tom Englund:] Pois ninguém presta atenção aos ecos do vento
    [Ato II - Sepultura Radioativa]
[Hansi Kursch:] Você ouve as sirenes?
[Daniel Gildenlöw:] Você os vê explodir?
[Steve Lee:] Você sente o fogo?
[Jonas Renske e Floor Jansen:] Todo o mundo é uma sepultura radioativa!
[Tom Englund:] Eu posso ouvi-los chorando
[Bob Catley:] Eu posso ver o medo
[Tom Englund:] Eu posso ouvir o lamento!
[Bob Catley:] Eu posso ver a ira!
    [Steve Lee:]
O significado da vida é dar à vida significado
Vai tão rápido, se move tão devagar.
Restaure o equilíbrio entre o pensar e sentir
    Abra e deixe fluir
    [Jonas Renske:]
Nenhum lado ganhou, luta para ... sobreviver
    Nossa missão aqui é feita
    2084
    Todas as nossas esperanças desapareceram
Nossa raça ... não irá prosperar
O tempo não lembrará o ano
    2084
    [Daniel Gildenlöw:]
Não desista, lembre-se de tudo que aprendemos
A faísca da vida se inflamar
Nós recuperamos a raiva pela qual nós ansiamos
Nós recuperamos nossa vontade de lutar
    [Jorn Lande:]
Nós devemos resolver esta equação humana
Nós já estamos mortos se não tentarmos
Para receber o desafio, a variação genética
Pare as máquinas, prepare-se para morrer!
[Ato IV - Para o planeta Vermelho]
    [Instrumental]
[Ato V - Espírito do vento]
[Tom Englund:] O espírito do vento
[Ato VI - Complete o Ciclo]
Nos torne completos, Alma do Migrador
Siga para sua casa, complete o ciclo
Nós devemos sobreviver, restaurar nossas vidas
A maneira que eu mostrarei, complete o ciclo [x2]
    [Hansi Kursch:]
    Envie visões de volta
    Para o passado
    De guerra e decadência
    [Floor Jansen:]
    Ouça os gritos finais!
    Eu posso ver o medo
    [Tom Englund:]
    Eu os vejo morrendo
    Nós temos que ensiná-los
    Alma do Migrador
    [Daniel Gildenlöw:]
Nós vamos ganhar a nossa vontade de lutar
    Estamos no alvorecer
    Nós encontramos um caminho
    [Steve Lee:]
    [Bob Catley:]
    Nós lhes demos a língua
    O que eles disseram?
    O que eles aprenderam?
    [Jorn Lande:]
    Nós não temos escolha
    Nós somos o futuro
    Nós somos a dor
    Complete o Ciclo!
    [Steve Lee:] AH !!!!

    Lyrics in italiano:
    Distruzione totale
É la fine del nostro regno
    l'avevamo previsto
    É la fine dell'evoluzione umana
    La fine dell'evoluzione
perchè nessuno presta attenzione agli echi nel vento
    [2. Tomba radioattiva]
    Puoi sentire le sirene?
    Puoi vedere la loro luce?
    Puoi sentire il fuoco?
tutto il mondo è una tomba radioattiva!
    Posso sentirli piangere
    Posso sentire la paura
    Posso vederli morire
spazzati via da mortali raggi gamma!
    Puoi sentirli chiamare?
    Li vedi soffrire?
    Li senti cadere?
    Posso sentire i pianti!
    Posso vedere l'ira!
    Posso sentirli fallire
    Posso sentire i pianti!
    Posso vedere l'ira!
    Posso sentirli fallire
    Dobbiamo risolvere quest'equazione umana
siamo morti se non ci proviamo
    accettare la sfida, variazioni genetiche
fermate le macchine, preparatevi a morire!
    [4. Sul pianeta rosso]
    (solo strumentale)
    [5. Spirito del Vento]
    É l'ultimo uomo in vita
    in cerca della risposta
    sapendo che non sopravviverà
    al mistero della vita
rivivendo il passato e sogni del futuro
    sognando il futuro
    e presto sarà liberato
    e l'addormentato si sveglierà
    lo spirito del vento
    [6. Completa il cerchio]
Rendici un tutt'uno, anima del Migrator
Ti seguiamo a casa, completa il cerchio
dobbiamo sopravvivere, ricominciare le nostre vite
Mostrerò la via, completa il cerchio
Mostrerò la via, completa il cerchio
    Invia visioni
    nel passato
    di guerra e decadenza
    Ascolta le grida finali!
    posso vedere la paura
    in un mondo senza mura
    Attraverso i loro occhi
    Li vedo morire
    dobbiamo insegnargli
    Anima del Migrator
Conquisteremo la nostra voglia di lottare
    siamo all'inizio
    abbiamo trovato una via
So che ce la faremo alla fine
    ascolta l'unico uomo
    Abbiamo dato loro il Linguaggio
    cos'hanno detto?
    Cos'hanno imparato?
    Non abbiamo scelta
    siamo il futuro
    siamo il dolore
    completa il cerchio!
    Ahhhh!

I think I follow it pretty clearly. Forevers are a race that lost emotions over billions of years, they put their DNA on a comet that crashed into Earth, then in 2084 there was a nuclear war that killed everyone. Only confusing part is the last man living was on Mars in the great migrator but this makes it seem like he's on Earth.

Now, a question is echoing inside my head. TH-1 turned into the new frame (or turned to be the old one, idk) what happened but what after it? The migrator came again, but still TH-1 around? And Jorn says "stop the machines", what make me think that they are in control, so, there's no Frame around. But, what about TH-1? Was "he" the Eletric Castle from the old album and a different Eletric Castle from Alpha Frame(a.k.a. Eletric Castle)? Ahhh so many questions....

    • @franciscomatas9451
      @franciscomatas9451 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

I think that the answer to your questions depend on the answer that forevers gave to the questions on The Human Compulsion.
Do we belong here, do we hide behind our dreams?
      Can we live without machines?
Can we resist our compulsion to explore?
Or will we always hunt for more?
      Liquid Eternity perpetuates our lives
But will it paralyze our minds?
Without the danger, can we still evolve?
      Will our passions all dissolve?
Remember Alpha, the source of human life
      Will our history be revived?
Who knows what they did between The source and 01011001. Listening to the Age of Shadows It seems that The Source happened looong time ago...

Forever of the Stars is the literal "echo on the wind" that only the blind minstrel in Final Experiment can hear. It's an embodiment of a living forever converted in a way that can physically pass through time, and while it calls out to humans and even tries to shape them to "complete the circle" by means of the Electric Castle that also exists outside of time, it realizes that it can't affect anybody permanently. I think. I don't know, it's all so convoluted and amazing.
