Hey John, OMG!, excellent/phenomenal! Other Passkeys content, I've viewed, have not explained in detail how the "keys" work. Additionally, the Passkeys consumer vs workforce/enterprise adoption rate and support varies greatly. Also, I am wondering where the Passkeys, multi-device credentials standard/specs lies, is it FIDO? MM
Thanks, that was a fantastic explanation. I hope Microsoft fully embraces passkeys and updates their VS project templates and code samples etc. to use passkeys by default. I wonder if they will enable passkeys for other scenarios such as logging into remote desktop in the future?
Love it 🔐, Just upgraded my iPhone and this is exactly what happen to my PassKeys some were synced and some were not i.e. the device bound ones. So had to reset my Passkeys for Azure on the portal as these didn't come across although sync was on the auth app. This even happens for some of the normal OTP as these also seem to be device bound.
