I found out something very interesting the other night- Maria Milito, the announcer on this show, works as a DJ at a classic rock station now in my hometown of Gadsden, Alabama.
@vnisanian2001 Actually the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando first opened in 1988. The 3-hour grand opening event of the Nick Studios building occured in May/June 1990.
This was still probably taped in NYC this season because they were utilizing an audience track during the Schneider run. We never see them until Robb Edward Morris came about.

A similar version of this game was used when Robb took over but the goal there was to accumulate a total of 300 points.
