Great content per usual! I started 2 weeks ago and rolled a Human Champion. Having a blast on him. Level 33 and it’s been pretty good for solo content. Feels fluid and the aoe is great! Thanks for the recommendations! This is super helpful as an new player!
Nice job with the video, great summary of the champ. I've been playing 11 years, and I have a capped Champ on Gladden. I use red line when solo, and yellow line when fellowed with kinmates. Keep up the good work! 😃
Red for solo? Why? Landscape mobs drop fast even with auto attack. In fact landscape mobs usually come in groups. Yellow is much better in this context.
Honestly, I know loads of people that say yellow line Champ is the best for soloing anymore. I don’t use it unless for bigger groups but it’s total preference.
Great vid! I just have a little suggestion for future content: when picking the race for your class, while the +might and +vit is noticeable early in the game, the reason people pick class/race combinations is because of the race traits you get… for example on my hunter, I chose elf, mainly because they get a trait that gives them +5% bow dmg, which is miles better than the agility stats you may get.
Champion you do say? Right up me alley. This is the most fun hot head fighting class in my opinion. I've been playing Champion since I started. The Traits Tree is a good build to advance on skills. I am going to create a Brawler next week and start another character. AGRO AGRO AGRO!!! Great video WeirdOne! Be well....😉
Brawler is so cool! Yeah if love charging into battles, champ, brawler and beornings are always my go-to. Guards too but they seem to have less aoe than I'd personally like. Thanks for watching!
Nice vid, and perfect timing - i just created a champ and am enjoying blue/yellow lines the most. So far at lvl 15 he has 1 single target taunt, 1 AoE taunt, and some great survivability skills in blue. I feel with the right virtues, more skills, and some practice he could be a solid tank. Would love a breakdown for warden and burglar, two classes i haven't spent much time with. Someone also mentioned RK, I'd be down for that
Great vid as usual 😄 Would like, not necessarily a vid just notes perhaps, a decent build for a blue minstrel. All the stuff I have found so far is either for a red line (good enough for levelling) or are so out of date they still have yellow spec (not the support skills, the full line - so no merged stuff and pretty useless).
great ideas. thanks! playing as a hobbit champion and it's a blast. I know a dwarf or human is better for min/maxing... but I wanted to play as a hobbit. he's a little dynamo!
I played ESO and Diablo for years, and got too much into the number crunching for the game to be fun. From what I've noticed with LOTRO ('m now a 15/16 Champion Elf), that doesn't matter all that much, at least until you get to endgame? At least, I am upgrading skills "intuitively" (although now I will be looking for that ranged attack) and seem to be downing enemies decently. Of course, I might get to 140 and be worthless, but LOTRO isn't that type of game (with a super competitive endgame - constantly evolving META)? Thanks for the helpful content!
Not sure if I understand… is it greyed out? If greyed out the bow isn’t equipped. The skill mostly is just for pulling mobs honestly. You aren’t going to have bow skills like a hunter.
Double check first if they are able. You can find out on your character by going to their skills panel, looking under passive and seeing under weapon proficiencies if it says they can wield a two-handed sword.

That’s awesome! Thanks for watching and commenting often! I really appreciate hearing your thoughts.

It's just soothing to see your videos.
Great Vid! Learned a lot, would the yellow trait tree/AOE be more useful when in a group as opposed to soloing, exception of completing Deeds?

I run High Elves for the run speed. :)

Noted. Thanks! I love that the timing was perfect too!
Champion has been my main for a while. Basically mash buttons and face roll the keyboard make the schwing schwing noises and you kill everything 😅
YESSS! Perfect explanation!

Thanks, this was really helpful, first time player here. Can't wait to get into it 😊
I’m glad it was helpful! Welcome to Middle Earth!
I love my champion!! I enjoy red line also. You should give the yellow line a shot. Very fun to pull mobs and takes them
Yeah sounds like some good words from yellow line. I will have to check it out.

@@mindartis4081 yes! We Stan for hobbit champs!
The champion class breaks down when they gather too many mobs at once and get killed before they can do SHING-SHING! on all of them.
Is dual or single hand better? 🤔
Loved the video thank you for the content! I think ive made up my mind as a new dwarf.
Yayaaa! Thanks for watching
Great breakdown. I would love to see a Runekeeper deep dive.
Noted!
I'm seeing (old) references to champion stances; did they get rid of those?
Nice vid!
Thanks for watching!!!
thx that helped
I am glad!
Is there a form of transmog (altering the appearance of your armor) in this game?
Cosmetics are in the lotro store in game

Yeah I don’t know many sweaty competitive endgame players, but some people are very particular about their stats.
I leveled from 100 to 140 with my lv100 equip. So yes, stats dont matter much. Of course if u run instances on a certain difficulty every bit counts.
Watching this now x

Ay yo i got a bow as a champion and i have the skill to use it and its equipped, but idk how to use it. Can i even use it?

@aubreytheweirdone oh gotcha. I just couldnt find the ability to make it shoot, but i think i got it now :)
@@jedthefroggy oh okay perfect! Glad you found it!
