    Thank you so much!! I used your video as a step-by-step guide to help me create a poster for my Doctoral program. This was very easy to follow and concise, and I now have learned so many features of PPT I never knew existed. You saved the day!

    long-time faculty member here. my undergrad and grad students have prepared many of these. i was asked to prepare one for my doctoral advisor's retirement event. i have prepared many papers, manuscripts, and books. never did a poster session. this is very helpful.

    Although I do in fact appreciate your effort and explanations I just have to say: such a design for a research poster is not just obsolete but even destructive for its intention. A poster should grab attention and convey knowledge quickly and effectively. So its design should have much wider ranges of visual hierarchy and a lot less details. If someone is interested in the finer details of the research the poster might feature a QR code linking to the study online for example. Yet within the context of a poster session the poster ought to get across as much content and knowledge in as little time as possible (i. e. the speed of walking past it) for there are many posters to be seen and their contents to be assimilated in a very short period of time. And for all intents and purposes there's always a presenter present to answer any questions.

      it's for students whose assignment is a 'poster' but yes from a marketing perspective your 100% correct.

    Do you know how to print poster from power point in multiple A4 pages?!

    • @SmithInstituteJCSU
      @SmithInstituteJCSU  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your question! The thing that comes to mind is to print a booklet to PDF, and then try to print it as a PDF- may be a good place to start . . . If that works, let us know (and if not, hopefully the TH-cam community can add other possible solutions)!
