Transitions and animations, oh, what a sight,

This man can see a simple tree animation on a website and proceeds to make procedural tree simulation in CSS complete with physics and sway.
He does it so effortlessly, but its as the day, that nay; it's never as easy as some people say.
Just wow, never thought I'd see a poet web dev. The quality is insane👌
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed 😄
this reminds me of the austrian painter who got rejected from art school💀

@@whirrrldw, I appreciate the poem
Poetic, precise, and everything nice. ✅
Educational, elegant, and musical! ❤
The animations, the rhymes, the music, the transitions, the sound effects, everything is perfect, all while he explains to us how to recreate a pretty complex design. This guy is a genius.
There rhymes were so smooth i dint even notice
I love my natural reaction going from:
"No way in hell he makes this in 4 minutes"
To:
"Damn, it really is that easy, huh."

Hey Hyperplexed, you're really not just a casual programmer, you're a genius. It's not only the coding which makes you unique, as you can learn how to code (JS etc.), but it is your way of thinking and solving problems. Breaking down big issues into bits and pieces is key. You make it look easy, every time, and well edited videos to attract your audience are just a bonus. There is talent all the way. Keep the good code flowing and a big thanks to all your effort you put into those work.
It doesnt take a genius to make things like this, thats the point of most of his videos. It just takes practice.
Noone is born knowing how to code, people should stop thinking that anyone creating cool stuff was born being really good at what they do. Its all just practice. Saying 'oh, look how talented this guy is' kind of undermines that imo.
@@barry5 i think he means the presentation and his teaching skills...
In the world of code, you shine so bright, an amazing youtuber whose skills take a flight. With lines of logic and scripts so clean, you're code is a masterpiece, a coder's dream!
And in the realm of edits, you're pure delight, crafting videos with skills so tight. From transitions to effects, you make it seem, coding and editing a seamless dream!
This is dope
am jealous 😂
This was just a work of art 🖼️
And as he left in satisfaction, we were left in awe of his eloquent vernacular contraption.
In the world of code, a tale unfolds anew,
Where a skilled creator with vision true,
Took a picture of a trailer, a scene so grand,
Reimagined it with code, in a digital land.
With HTML and CSS, the canvas was laid,
Javascript's magic, the scene began to cascade.
From a snapshot of a trailer, a masterpiece grew,
A vision in code, a creation so true.
He painted with pixels, and lines of code,
Transforming that image into a digital ode.
In HTML's embrace, the foundation was set,
CSS added style, a masterpiece's silhouette.
Javascript breathed life into this reengineered dream,
A work of art that made the digital world gleam.
From a single frame, a new story was born,
In the realm of code, a masterpiece adorned.
highly underrated.
👏
I didn't know Dr. Seuss could code.
I don't even know who that is, but if this video's title is only 5% correct, they must be amazing

You, my good lad, deserve a like for every millisecond this video had.
Your rhymes, oh how nice, and your voice, even better! You could make something interesting from just a single letter.
I could never make some this good with a paper and pen. The words from your mouth run smoother than code O(log n).
I really love what you do, keep up the good work! But seriously, just listening to you makes my senses go berserk.
This was hands down the best video yet. You always put out briliant content. They help me think more like a designer from my software engineer nature.
These tutorials are both instructive and entertaining at the same time! Love the doctor Seuss rhymes!
Dude, seriously, WTF? I mean that in the best possible way.
the players may be down, but hyperplexed lever is up🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🤯😲😲
Beautiful narration. It was very pleasing to hear. That's art.
Watching Hyperplexed videos feels like high end fine dining. You experience them rarerly, but you always get blown away.
I thought I had grown out of Dr Seuss, but I gotta admit, I loved this
Whole video i had a smile on my face because of your explanation, rhyming and the sweet sweet animation
Thinking about these complex effects had me vexed,
but seeing you deconstruct them had my joy hyperplexed
I have stopped mid way to write this, you guy are a true quality fun content maker. This video and execution is just so good. Just CSS seems easy, and the animations, and the tone and the rhyme. King 👑
Dude is an artist in every way and form
i never knew i needed dr seuss to explain css effects to me until today
how the hell is there a quality video here on the internet that I probably won't see if I hadn't been interested in coding. The dude is insane. I wish it was longer!
At this point this channel become a short movie channel, every video is like a painting
LEGENDARY 🔥
The quality of your videos are just... chef's kiss
Okay but the build-up towards the end was brilliant lol
I don't know why I like it so much but this rhyming is the best thing ever and got me smiling like a maniac
Pure joy! You've developed a brilliant mind!
That’s three amazingly solid skills in one: front end, killer vid animations and a rhyming script that thrills. 👍👍. Great work!
DUDE I watched this on double speed as I do with all my videos and it took me half the video to realize it is all rhymed
You are insane

How are you so entertaining, while teaching great skills? You truly have an amazing talent and voice.
Even the last line was done perfectly.
This deserved my sub. I have done JS for years and this was ART.
You are a legend, this is a testament to constantly leveling up your skills. Beautiful executed! 🎉😮
You really pulled this off ! Great way of teaching css animations. Learned a looot 🙌
Dude the last one was definitely the best rhyme of them all lol. Awesome!
That was a pure joy to watch/listen too!! Dr. Seuss is jely for sure!
The thumbnail doesn't do justice to how cool your video actually is! Changing it might hopefully bring more viewers imho.
This video deserves an award! Mind-blowing 🤯

[Intro]
Uh hang on just a sec here
I think we got it
Well wait let me make sure just cut this out of here
Eh this text is a little blurry let me just enhance that
Okay can I get like a reset button or something
Ah there we go
Man I just wish I could see like uh different colors
I don't really want oh okay Blue's not bad
Oh wow actually Pink is pretty dope
All right well we'll come back to that
Now if I'm really going to recreate this thing right
Let me make a list of what I need
[Verse 1]
I see they're using a bold and blocky font
Looks like they put some grid lines on top
Maybe a wee bit of shadow around the outside
And the final thing I'm noting here
is that I'm going to have to come up with a good way to cycle through the digits
[Verse 2 - Sponsor]
But first a quick word about today's sponsor
Frontend Masters
Have you ever wished that somebody somewhere out there
Anyone at all would say you know what
Today I'm gonna create an entire highquality front-end development bootcamp
And then don't you just wish they'd say to heck with profit on this one
I'm going to make this whole thing free
Well you're in luck my friend because frontend Masters has done exactly that
Taught by industry-leading experts
Over 21 hours of awesome Project based learning to help you
Jumpstart your web dev career
And when you're done for just $39 a month over 150 additional courses on everything web dev related you could possible imagine
So click the link in the description if you want to check out the free boot camp
Or any of their other amazing content
[Verse 3 🔥]
Now the reason I'm able to do what I do
is not because I know more than you
It's simply because I've chosen a plan
to pay attention to as many details as I possibly can
It's kind of a game with no one way to win
you just need to find a good place to begin
we'll start with a font or maybe the border
it doesn't really matter neither one's out of order
once we have those we'll find the color they chose
looks like some shade of green I suppose
I see a problem however that's not abundantly clear
the edges are dimmer than the center i fear
there's at least one way I know to make them less radiant
and it comes in the form of a radial gradient
we can't stop there we're still missing a line
that repeats itself across our sign
we'll start with some wide ones and then make them skinnier
a gradient again but this time it's linear
since we stopped at 7 no matter the color
our gradient repeats from one end to the other
let's take a step back now to examine our text
and consider the logic that surely comes next
[Verse 4]
but hyperplex you say, there's no way you're equipped
to come up with rhymes about JavaScriped
oh believe me my friend I'm tremendously stressed
but at last we move on with this terrible test
we'll begin with a function
its role is quite major
to determine which characters are numerical in nature
and while those that are not
are simply placed in a span
the remainder move on to the next step of our plan
in the case of a number the first one being four
imagine if instead we inserted nine more
a wel’ll bit of styling to fix the orientation
followed by a fairly straightforward calculation
to determine the correct length of translation
everything is still visible
but that can be overridden
with one single property, overflow hidden
Uh are we done yet
are you even having fun yet
to the latter I I don't know
but I'm ready to go
and I'm worried these digits, are moving too slow
you see the initial design, was from 0 to 9
and as a starting point that was perfectly fine
but if we were to pull off a realistic ticker
the left side should be slower
and the right should be quicker
to that I propose that we increase our limit
staggering our numbers based on the place of the digit
so that over the course of a 3 second duration
due to the varying length of translation
will have achieved a reasonable adaptation
just one final thought before I head for the door
[Outro]
nah just kidding I can't do this anymore
This dude really putted together the poetry and programming. I'm impressed.
bro went poetic
When art and programming meet
Dr Seuss is who we greet.
... I'll walk myself out now
2:12
Crazy! No calc II jumpscare warning!
I almost missed a heartbeat from nostalgia and the thought I knew what a radial gradient is and how to work with it.
I haven't even passed the course, at age 15, but it's my favorite course to this day and I will retake it if I continue my journey to higher academia.
I want more of this haha I discovered my love for developpers' rhymes.
this may be the best webdev video ever created.
This guy has an two talents :
- One that induces impostor syndrome in you
- One for poetry
And he decided to use them both in this video...
