@crxtech1 Hi thanks, I just checked into this. This camera doesn't have a charger like that, you have to take out the battery to charge it then put it back. There is special adapter that is actually a dummy battery that has the AC adapter hole in it, you put that in place of the battery then you can plug into car adapter. I see them on ebay for $20 free shipping. I will see if I can turn off the LCD first and see how that goes. If I can get 4 hours that'd be pretty amazing lol.

This is an excellent new camera. It's a lot better than mine, that's for sure. The focusing problem in the rain is something I've never been able to get around, either. I know it will help if your camera is fully zoomed out, but other than that I'm not so sure how to avoid it.

@CptSchmidt Hi thanks very much I will take some more video and see how it does in the night time, its definately better than my old one. I was very scared it would have the same shaking problem but it doesn't thank goodness. Perhaps there is a setting so it doesn't auto focus on the windsheild. The battery didn't last too long only about 30-40min but I had the LCD on and perhaps if I turn that off it will last longer.

My last camcorder had very short battery life as well. What you can do, I still do this with the Kodak even though it can last for up to four hours on a single charge, is buy a cheap power adapter. I bought mine at Canadian Tire for $15 a little more than a year ago; you just plug it into your car lighter or power port and plug your camera into the adapter's socket. Goodbye battery woes.

@CptSchmidt Oh yes and it seems it only can record 10 min HD clips at a time, it stopped and I had to press record again. I seem to have missed that when reading the specs before buying it. I just read about that. But the quality and stability is good and the price was good...so I think I will live with it and see how it goes.
