North bound jan 2012 , sorry about my shoe reflection lol I thought my camera suction mount cup would fall so I just put my shoe under it to catch it just incase but didn't think about the refelction. Isn't there a weird jello effect with this canon elph 300 HS I think this is called rolling shutter.
Canon powershot elph 300 HS night video test , 1080p (Toronto Canada)
มุมมอง 16K13 ปีที่แล้ว
Just testing how the Canon Powershot HS 300 HS handles low light night time video. This is shot in 1080p.the night video is way better than my Gopro. I got this camera for $159 from futureshop. The only thing I don't like so far is the LCD always stays on when recording consuming battery power and you can only record 10 minute clips at a time.

It would be nice to have like this video from 1990s and see the compare from past to present.
Where could the fire chief be going to.
Красивое видео,красивый город,просто сказка!
Canada and Russia the snowest lands!!! Love winter!
Youge street really is useless into days age. It's way too narrow and there no way of changing it. Eaton Center is ridiculous for planning. Now they have to go underground to claim lost value?? B ay Street is just the same. There was no real planning done, and now it's congested with traffic..,, Access to the Toronto Islands is cut off>"
Thanks, this is where I grew up, this very area. You just showed me things I have not seen in 24 years. Now in Edmonton. Possible to walk the length of Cedarbrae Mall sometime? Whenever you get around to it :)
Toronto is not what it used to be...it is multi-cultural yes but pockets of the city that used to be pristine are becoming overcrowded and filthy (Yonge/Finch in particular)...sad...as a 6th generation CDN at the age of 50..it is so sad to see a once pristine city and the envy of many cities/the world...an overcrowded and dirty city wrought with violence that we have never experienced before...immigrants are killing this city....too many...too quickly.....very sad
Excellent video quality. What kind of car are you driving?
The weather is so miserable . Even if you are rich how are you gonna spend the money happily ?
+Ronny C 2013 was a particularly shitty year in terms of weather for Toronto. Spring was essentially skipped, followed by a cool and extremely rainy summer. Then to end off the year at winter there were record low temperatures and at Christmastide the city along with many other places was hit by a massive ice storm which covered everything in a layer of ice, which in turn caused thousands of homes to be without electricity for days and caused destruction to countless trees. The only nice thing, if you care to draw a silver lining from it, was that all the trees and their individual branches had been encased in ice, which made that winter strikingly beautiful in an ironic way, and thankfully most of the trees did survive. I remember when I was in the third grade at recess I was taking shelter from the cold along with some other kids in one of the school's vestibules. Here people literally have to be dropping dead from the cold before they have students stay inside for recess. A teacher made us go back outside and said "This is Canada" or in other words, "It's cold, get used to it." Canadian weather isn't for everyone, but I can say thankfully we do have our share of good weather and beauty to make it all worth it... sometimes... lol. Despite the questionable weather, most of us would not rather live anywhere else ;)
+Ronny C you are right the weather is horrid, summer is too humid and hot and winter is cold and snowy, vancouver has 10x better weather and without the humidity. The humidity ruins the summer.
Not a good idea to visit Canada in Winter i suppose
I have many more videos please click on my name and you can see them of winter and summer thanks!
I would like to go someday but for sure it will not be in Winter. Too cold and too sad for me.
Ariel Goldfarb summer is not very nice either! it is extreme humidity , toronto really has worst weather, only nice in april/may and late septemeber/october Vancouver is best, nice in summer no real humidiity.
crxtech1 I thought Montreal has a more extreme weather than Toronto among major Canadian cities, especially winter. But yeah, both cities have an unbearable humidity during summer.
I actually like cold but not so extreme. What you mean with kazharian??
lol I am still watching this video lol , @ 20:41 that Home Hardware is still there lol
my dad used to live on Ridgemoore ave next to the bluffs. I'm from Glasgow Scotland but used to visit him there when I was young.. Is this anywhere near there? Also my uncle lives on 600 middlefield rd.. Is that in this vid? Great vid thanks for sharing !!
when he turned into thows buildings thows are where I use to live and from there its about 5 to 10 mins from the bluffs less then 10 mins for sure but around that time frame .
Toronto is quite big however only downtown has tall buildings the other parts are mainly residential areas. Downtown is probably the best because it is convenient for everything, shops, restaurants etc. Driving from west to east locally would take around 2-3 hrs while south-north about 1.
Bo Wang Untrue... the thing to understand about Toronto is tall buildings are spread throughout the metropolitan area.... so it has many clusters of high rise buildings.
Looks like a pretty nice drive. I love the look of this city
Bro I'm might be moving from Houston to Canada. Jeez best stack up on my hoodies
the hell? A cyclist at 1:10 ? Jeez.

Moved to Edmonton about six months ago. Born and raised in Toronto. These videos allow me to "visit" my hometown. Thank you.
Do you have any plans to shoot another video driving on Yonge Street soon? I really enjoyed the video.
please watch my other videos thanks
way too fast!
Your driving videos are exactly what I needed. I like taking them, but the camera I was using has a very noisy and over-active auto-focus (you can see it here: th-cam.com/video/btQ4ZJik_ds/w-d-xo.html). So I was looking for an inexpensive additional camera to get to use only for driving videos. I was becoming interested in the Powershot 300, which is how I found your videos. I seems to take very good quality, noiseless videos.
It's funny that you said it was a quiet street - the uploader drove through the busiest part of downtown! (Although he drove there at a time that wasn't busy.)
on my calender it says 9th was a sat. i have lots from this day on my computer, i have plows, fire trucks...but my cam ran outta battery
Wich day was this the the Friday or Saturday
i copied and pasted the text into the website google translate and it says "Why is it so empty on the streets? All died or what?"
? wtf you'd say
