Yes same...I want non stick tawa for making rotis t Prathas ..etc..do in morning daily I simple heat gas and put water above twa to wash itt. But u said to wash tawa only with hot water...🙄..wht i do
Actually Chinese wok need to seasoning process. .. but for tht need to heat it up till the colour of iron change and cool it suddenly by water ... it's called seasoning (hardening) then it's molecular structure changes and it becomes nonstick. .. you can search on youtube wok seasoning.

Its refined oil and you can use any oil. It would last till you wash your tawa. After washing the greasing provided by the oil would be lost.
