It is a shame that 2012 lost it's old GE paint scheme, I prefer that much more than this Wabtec scheme, but nothing stays the same forever, great video!
Man...Hate seeing the iconic GE design get covered up! At least we still have 2011 kicking around, hopefully can make it back up there before it falls to the paint booth.
Rather disappointing to see 2012 be repainted, but it’ll still be used for many more years to come. How are the NS C6M rebuilds coming along in Erie, PA? I’ve been paying good attention to every update that comes out for them.
I really loved that paint scheme but at least 2011 is still around. Wouldnt mind catching that Roy Hill locomotive. I take its still there at Wabtec? Excellent video!!

@VinceAchurra from what I understand is the museum will likely never get one of the true demonstrator locomotives like 2012 or 2011 or even the original ac6000cw 6000 because wabtec doesn't want all the proprietary information and equipment outside it's gates and they'd have to strip out everything on the locomotives

Have to agree with you, the old paint job from GE made it special.
It sure did. Another passing of the old school.

It looks much better in it's old paint scheme. Wabtec should have made some wavy white or black lines on it in a different way to make it look similar
