    Thanks for the content. I'm already on my way to success. Trade has been the main source of income, although I barely do it myself

      There is no magic in trading. The main secret of trading is to have a very strong and reliable signal, but that's not for novices, that's why I work with Larry Kent Nick.

    Great video...the thing I'm trying to do is, even though you said not to do it, buy a bit above the high level and when it dips, set a stop a few ticks below so I break even if it retracts. I get too nervous because I have blown up my accounts with micros...trading only $500 (all I can afford now) and the trades most of the time blow past me in the other direction. I don't feel comfortable holding 20 ticks or more because for me, they just keep going, and I held, hoping for it to come back and it didn't. Difficult to know when to enter and leave. For this reason I thought maybe scalping is better for me. I'm really trying, for 6 months now....not getting anywhere.

    Thank you brother! 🙂
    Really interesting tool. I've only had it on my charts for the last few days and just came across your channel, I'll have a dig through the rest of your content. I mainly trade the DAX and I've been using VWAP for a while, I'm sure this'll be a beautiful addition. I'm happy with my trading style but always looking to learn and improve. It sounds like you could go quite deep into the subject and I'll gratefully absorb all the content you can produce on the volume profile!
    Hope you have a great Christmas and new year! 🙂

    was it just a coincidence or is there any particular reason for the price to go up just when VA and POC moved to down side ? just observed that.
    When you said that wasnot meant to be a double distribution day at the time was coz price had already spent tooo much time at he upper part ? or anyother reason?
    Great content, where could I have a look at your live session ?
    thank You!

    Aaron it would help if volume bars are there on the chart...

  • @naggastos
    @naggastos 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Thanks for the videos - you say LVNs can be great support/resistance, but I also often hear about the POC (the complete opposite of a LVN) being great S/R (and therefore a potential entry point sometimes). I would imagine that since the POC means we have strong accumulation at that price, the buyers or sellers would defend that point more than a LVN. Does it maybe depend on if we’re rangebound or trending? Maybe it also depends a bit on daytrading vs swing trading

    • @korbstrading
      @korbstrading  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      HVNs, LVNs, POCs, etc are all key levels. Key levels have the ability to work as support and resistance. With that being said, I find that HVNs work better as targets and LVNs work better as entries. (Although they are not exclusively either)

    Awesome video, I was wondering do you ever use the volume profiles from past days to find value areas or do you only ever use the volume profile for that day. Thanks again !

    • @korbstrading
      @korbstrading  5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      West Condran great question.
      100% yes .
      There are 2 types of profiles
      - Intraday (what we looked at in this video)
      - Composite (profiles that bring in two or more days of data)
      Composite profiles are very important and I use them everyday. 👍🏼

    Question about forex, lets say it’s Wednesday, so should I se candlestick just for Wednesday and volume profile will show just todays data, or I should see candlesticks from Sunday night when the market was open? Its hard to understand how much back I should see for optimum volume profile work. I mean data for today are different then data from Sunday, I hope you understand my quotation, thx

    this is literally how i trade. ive been learning for around 3 years, on Forex. and i came to this conclusion more or less naturally, but i have to admit that Futures Trader71 had a big influence on my journey. but the way you explain this is spot on. im still in the early stages of actually investing money though.

    Korbs, though your intentions are noble to help traders across the world, for some reason this video becomes a scattershot in the last half of the video with a seeming subjective approach to your actual trades. In this video, you have turned an elegant Rembrandt painting in volume profile easily recognizeable, into a combo Picasso, Dali, Rothko spaghetti mix. Though you are an expert in volume profile and the terminology and context, a novice or intermediate volume student would be bewildered by your modern art approach in this video to volume profile imo. Once again Korbs I appreciate your educational efforts on behalf of all traders, but please edit the video and crystallize your central trading plan on this video. Otherwise, instead of viewing a sublime work of classic art, the viewer is left with a jumbled confusion of modern art motifs lacking beauty, value, and perhaps even truth if left in the wrong profile users hands based on the last part of video imo. Anyways, just an observation to help you bring out your tremendous gift otherwise for education and helping others. God bless, and the truth shall set us all free.
