After speedrunning every language on Duolingo, Spanish was an extremely smooth ride, first, because it's not really a difficult language overall, and second, it's actually my mother tongue.
I took the opportunity to share a couple of fun facts, rules and curiosities of this broadly spoken language and its multitude of varieties in Latin America, as well as it's place of origin: Spain. Just remember to be careful when using the verb "coger" in Latin America, as well as the word "chaqueta" in Mexico.

Man is speedruning his own language💀
Hes speedrunning another dialect.
S P E E D
my german friend actually learns her own language- german. idk why she does it when she was born there and can speak the language but oh well
Technically he didn't make Spanish
@@thecoolkittensarecool its spanish but with another accent
I nearly choked on my pizza when Duo said "Yo necesito una chaqueta"
Duolingo is quite naughty
JAAJAJJA naoo
Duolingo NEEDS a chaqueta urgently
@@Nihonjingakusei 🤭
i looked it up and i'm scarred 💀
It's time for the Zulu language, time to master the click sounds of Zulu language
👀
Incredibly entertaining as always, your editing style is hilarious
Glad you enjoyed!
i love becoming influent in my own lamguage 🥰
Haha you can always become afluent too 😂 🪙🪙
11:45 the map casually showing Brazil as Spanish speaking lol
Hahaha actually it was for all of south America and the Caribbean, I just kept the ones that included Spanish speaking countries, and Brazil was mixed in there
Well, Spanish is widely used in the Acre province of Brazil if I remembre correctly (correct me if I'm wrong)
Edit: I was, indeed, wrong
@@xabieraldeabehal3425 you're wrong. Acre separated from Bolivia and joined Brazil because the population there was already mostly Brazilian immigrants. Nowadays, there is a substantial number of Venezuelans in Roraima state. Even then, there are more English speakers in Brazil than Spanish speakers.
and canary islands like also a country
@@valerioluizfelipe ok, thanks for correcting me.
ive been waiting for another one of your speedruns! love the content, thank you :))
It's finally here! This is the one i've been waiting for for so long!
I'm currently learning Spanish and enjoyed your video a lot. I can see how much effort you put into it, especially the editing. Keep up the great content please 👍🏻
11:10 man, I'm Colombian and I've never listen someone call a t-shirt "Franela", we call it "Camiseta"
En Venezuela si se le llama franela
Same.
13:55 Everyone does that. In polish we do that, i seen Czech people do tnad, i just see all languages like this
I can imagine that! But Spanish might be easier since accents don't really change the pronunciation of letters, just the stress.
@@jccbm WAIT have you completed all languages already? I'm not speedruning but I'm planning on doing them all too, byt I have just started like two weeks ago, I have a randomized list of languages
as a czech learner, the first time i saw someone writing without accents i was so lost and couldn’t understand a thing
@@elenafari_ i see it often on tiktok
Watching this when I should be doing my Spanish homework. 😅
I absolutely cracked up when Translate said 'geef me een klap papa' 😂😂😂 especially cuz there's not really a Dutch translation for that phrase. Most people just say the English phrase (I don't speak from experience, the only people that have said it said it as a joke)
una pregunta, de qué país eres? Tu acento está chévere y se parece al mío. Yo soy de Ecuador :)
Wow you are really good with Spanish I can never fly by Duolingo that fast
my duolingo looks completely different. how are you getting the older version of duolingo for speedruns?
I learn English on Duolingo and the idea that we need to learn like babies actually works to me. I've been practicing this way and now my English is pretty good, i think
Whoever said German is closer to English than Dutch is (extremely) wrong.
Yeah. Learning German myself and definitely much more similar to Dutch than English, especially in spelling. Grammar, from what I understand, is very similar as well.
As someone raised in Germany, I can confirm that.
So true. Dutch is way closer to English. It's the closest language to English.
Right now im learning German at a young age cause zi fi d the language very easy I can remember the words very easy. Ist nicht einfach 😢 some kf the words make me go insane tbh hard to pronounce, but oh well. AND THEN I see you speak Spanish fluently and so easy.
Awesome! :D
Ah, yes. Nothing like a good pan con /khamón/ to start off the day w/ energy and having to take the siesta 6 hours after.
Great video btw.
Sexy spanish accent guy is funny.
No way this is the video I find out about custom speed on youtube videos lmao
Man you forgot cheese in high valyrian!!! It's jūlrāzma.
Add it to all the rest!
It's in the list! We just ran out of space
@@jccbm Noo!😭
What languages were the fastest to speedrun?
Spanish, Portuguese, German and Italian I believe
That makes sense, thanks for the answer@@jccbm
The background music. It brings back so many memories 🥹
how much xp was this?
Oh i'm currently learning spanish on Duolingo too
Hola
2:42 As a Puerto Rican, I felt the question mark xD
También lo quiero hacer
After my German course
My qhestion is how is his game not updated yet it been like 2 years
not me watching him do duolingo lessons instead of doing my own spanish on duolingo
Me llamo T-Bone, la araña discoteca
Spanish speaker, but I barely ever write in it... But it shouldn't be too hard, right?

How come T-shirt is the word varied the most in different languages but in Japanese it's literally Tシャツ? (Reads as T-shetsu)
I think he meant like in different Spanish dialects not all languages
@@brighthades5968 Oh, I see.
Exactly! It varies a lot within Spanish speaking countries, not necessarily other languages@@brighthades5968
9:24 that's what she said
I was wondering why his accent was so good then I read the title smh

First day of asking jccbm to fully learn Czech - or no language skill.
That's a worthy challenge. I'll consider it
@@jccbm Second week of asking .... I've started learning 6 languages, thanks to your videos :)
I didn't understand what "usted" in Spanish is about from Doolingo and it changed sentence too much. So i searched for explanation on YT. Well it's also in Czech and i want to show you mi commento so you know something about Czech language.
"It's almost the same in Czech and i had problem with this, 'cause i could't wrap my head around it, how it changes ending and sentence, it seemed like a mess to me, why would it be like 3rd person and words swapped? In Czech "usted" is like "ustedes" (like plural "you") so i had to find some video for explanation. Czech has whole language informal/formal. That's why it's so hard language to speak with casual Czechs after everything teaches you already hard formal language, you hear everything differentely then you know :)"
mom wake up jccbm dropped a new duolingo video
Can you continue Italian, It'll be fun for everyone, you know?
What are the odds I get a fucking duolingo ad on a duolingo video lmao
Also why tf is there an omious 🔦 - wait i answered a text mid comment now it's gone 👀
Actually quite high 🤣 this is literally the target audience
