Cheating on her boyfriend on national T.V. while conceiving his daughter didn’t help her case. Baby mamas need to stop thinking their child is a shortcut to a man’s heart.
And now that he realizes that's what Chey wanted he now wants to "add" her in to "his" new family life. That's cruel of him, really. When Chey can finally get the strength to pull away and just let him go with who he owes time with, his daughter and only her, then Chey will be a lot better. Esp emotionally.

Exactly, There's no need to have another man or woman around the child. It is unhealthy for the child. It is important that the child especially as an toddler is around her REAL MOTHER. The child is still a child and what purpose does the other dating-woman serve? What tf does the child need a another woman around their child whose not his/ her parent? Even if the two were married, If he wanted to visit the child The wife should stay out of it and allow him to visit his child on his own without her unless the child's maternal mother is okay with it. It is also obvious that he has issues and a anger problem. He's too weak of a man to fix or cease whatever the issue is with his child's mother So its escapism which is why he's dating. That child is no more than two or three and the father is already trying to introduce a dating individual to his barely 2-3 year old daughter who the child knows absolutely nothing about. As we can see the child herself has developed temperaments from her father clearly. The father is not mentally healthy and the Mother needs to take custody of her child at this point before it gets too late/chaotic.
She is 100% within her right to limit who is coming in and out of her daughter's life. Corey has the same right. Once his relationship becomes serious and he has that conversation with Cheyane she has to let it go if she has no reason to keep his girlfriend away. Not liking her is not a reason. Not saying it is going to be easy because she obviously wishes they could be a family. Life is hard and kids just complicate these things further.

That would be extending her influence to a level that is inappropriate/disrupts the natural flow of Corey’s love life and giving her power she doesn’t have as a former sex partner with low emotional rank. When they chose to create a child out of wedlock, they accepted the uncomfortable, frustrating, unideal circumstances that come along with that like the possibility that they don’t get to critically examine and select precisely who is around their child because a new partner will be in the picture.

I understand Cheyenne’s point. As a mother we have to be careful who we allow around our children. If the other parent is casually seeing a number of different women then she is allowed to limit the amount of time they are around the child. I’m in my late 20s..... never did get pregnant in my teens but I have 2 children by the same guy. At the end of the day my “baby daddy “ is going to do whatever he does behind my back with our kids. All I ask is for him to be mindful of what they see and what they hear! If he has a girl who he’s on and off. The same rules still apply! I know he wouldn’t do anything that would harm our kids. Grow up. Get over it. Guess what?! I’m dating and those I’ve dated were always introduced as a friend and we never did anything inappropriate.
