I was hurt when the Captain America title was taken from John Walker, but I was happier that he got the name U.S. Agent to make it his own; I knew I was going to like U.S. Agent after he put that beat down on Hawkeye
I agree with that first statement. strength literally should be connected to how hard you punch. it's literally a STRENGTH feat. if you extend your arms to lift however much weight you can lift, only makes sense it effects when you hit bad guys with the POW!
I totally get what you’re saying I really do and I do agree with you, but there is this thing called technique into the punches. I’ll give you an example you can take a 270 pound bodybuilder that’s bench pressing 550 pounds and I will bet you $100 if you get a 205 pound boxer that’s bitching maybe 300 pounds that boxer is going to have A harder punch than the bodybuilder so I think that’s what he’s trying to throw out there but if the bodybuilder learns to technique and throwing a punch, he’s gonna punch harder that’s why I agree with what you’re saying, but I’m just playing devils advocate here
@@the4thtribe709 No. you're definitely right. if you can't throw a proper punch you're more than likely going to hurt yourself and fail. automatically I feel alot of comic characters know how to throw a punch. but going off real life physics, You make a valid point. not to mention most of the time speed is also a good factor into a strong punch.
The easiest way to look at it. Two exact clones of Bruce Lee One Bruce Lee that can lift 500 tons And another Bruce Lee that can lift 500 trillion tons Both of Bruce Lee's have the same fighting skills technique and everything. Which Bruce Lee is going to punch harder? lol The answer is pretty obvious !
@@TheMasterofDisaster48 Their both similar in strength so Steve Rogers is undoubtedly strong but The Super Soldier Variant Serum that John Walker has received by the Power Broker has made John Walker significantly stronger than Steve Rogers.
Because it wasn't a super soldier serum but a super strength formula. Walker doesn't have enhanced reflexes and the mental enhancements the serum gave to Steve. He is just strong enough to lift up to 10 tons but has no speed or agility.@@octaviuswilliams4134
He was studied by MIT due to his physical gifts. He was basically equivalent to a top tier soldier like Delta Force or seal team 6 combined. Then he took serum. Even if it's 80% effective as Steve Rodgers original serum he's def stronger. Also he was trained in the modern age with new tactics, weapons, martial arts against modern soldiers. It was always my understanding that Cap is the peak of what a human can do. So he would be as fast as Usain Bolt. He would be as strong as Mark Henry. He would have the stamina of David Goggins. You get the idea. Name the human that is the best at some physical attribute and that is Steve Rogers. Combine all those skills and you get a pretty unstoppable human. It's odd to me that there is even a question if U.S. Agent is stronger. Cap's power creep is getting up there.
Agent Walker is not given his duty. I owned the comics in which he first appeared. He was indeed stronger than Cap and beat Cap soundly in their first fight. Cap one the 2nd fight with his skill and will. They should have let him be Captain America longer than a few issues; it was a great book and let Cap be US Agent longer. They cut that storyline too quickly. And I don't like how US Agent's career ended while he was Captain America. There was a more honorable way for him to hand back the mantle of Captain America back to Steve Rogers. All the other Captain Americas were honored; US Agent deserved a more honorable transition of power. The writers failed him. At least Ivan honored him with this video.
If either have a strength gap against each other I would say the gap isn't super large though. I would say cap is still somewhere in his ballpark. It's like a 250 lb of fighting a 240 pounder. Both still or within the same range of strength.
Yeah Walker is probably ten times stronger then Cap. Walker can lift over ten tons that puts him in Spider mans class. And Spidey is much stronger then Cap. Cap did beat Walker once but that was after Walker had almost frozen to death from being dunked in cold water for hours.
I wouldn't necessarily say he's on Spider-Man's tier strength. Spider-Man has lifted 60 ton tanks, and thousands of tons and stuff but that's another thing lol
@ _ I still go off of Spidey’s 80’s Marvel universe stats (before all the power creep) that listed him at ten ton level. Also Walker and Spidey have fought before and Walker held his own strength wise.
I'd have to see John Walker and Spider-Man arm wrestle to really be convinced that super soldiers can compete with Spider-Man in actual strength. Theres a ton of characters that scuffle with Hulk and stuff but it doesn't necessarily mean they're the Hulk level of strength. like we've seen it happen plenty of times. Like a true test would be seeing him like arm wrestle venom or carnage (Spider-Man tier strength beings)
Obviously the stronger you are the harder you can hit. That’s why they have so many weight divisions in boxing. A 200 lb heavy weight is much stronger then a 150 lb middle weight and hits a lot harder

Correct. He is physically stronger than Cap, but they're equals according to Marvel's hierarchy.
