So it's funny, because most everyone HATES Mondays, but I look forward to them so I can hear another new song! ❤🎵
Three tips that I hope you take to heart.
1) Sing covers anytime you want to practice but only post covers that are better than or really different from the original.
2) Adele is obviously a big influence and she should be, she is a legend, but don't try and be Adele, you can't be, that identity is already taken.
3) Stop pretending to be a singer and be Davina in her entirety. Believe me when I say, you DON'T have to copy anyone, you have IT, the talent, the look, everything, you are just missing the vibe. The vibe comes from who you are as a person and artist. Stop making yourself breathy with half-notes. That's Adele's thing, belt those notes out. Mimicking her style got you to this level. To get to the next level you are going to have to leave her behind and come into your own. Once you do that, you are going to take off like a rocket ship. You are incredibly talented.
*Warning: The world is full of incredibly talented artist that never leveled up. Get out of your head and into the song. I can see what you are thinking when you sing. I should be able to see what you are thinking, The hair should stand up on my arms because I can FEEL what you are FEELING. Be 100% YOU! I promise you, it is MORE THAN ENOUGH to rocket you to stardom!!
