A video about what you pack when doing mini day trips/short hikes/trails with your kids? My youngest two are similar ages to your kiddos, and I want to start hiking with them, but not sure what to bring (without going overboard). On a good day, my youngest can walk almost the full mile with me around my neighborhood, but I’m looking at getting something to help me carry her when she gets tired.

Can I just tell you for a second how beautiful, gentle and kind your soul is? I’ve watched you since I was a preteen and to be able to see you live your life through all of its curve balls has been so inspiring. You are so wise and graceful. I feel blessed to have ever found your videos and get to learn from such an amazing person. You are such a genuine human and I’m amazed by your resilience to life, huge heart full of love, and eyes full of wonder. 💗

Describing your kids bond sounds exactly they way my two were. My daughter is about 21 months older than my son and they were best friends exactly as you described up until they were about 8 and 10. Then they went through a 4 year phase of absolutely hating each other. But as soon as my son turned 12 and matured a bit they are now back to being best friends again and have never argued since. They are now 16 and 18 so fingers crossed it stays this way. So don’t despair if they go through a shitty phase with each other as hopefully it will pass. They have a bond now that pulls at my heart strings as I am an only child so never experienced a sibling bond.

This sounds like my brother and I I was 21 months 29 days older :) and about same time same experiences. So weird, I guess it's just growing pains and we were/are polar opposites

I watched your vlog last evening, heard this song and immediately thought of you… ‘Broken and Beautiful’ by Kelly Clarkson nailed your emotions shown. Please take this as positivity. Ive watched you grow since your beginnings. You have grown to a place I knew you would get to one day!’Enjoy The Moment. This Moment Is Your LIFE!’ Don’t let anyone blow out your FLAME!

Hi. I felt like I needed to tell you this because you're so genuine about how you treasure how close your children are. My brother and I are 16 months apart. I'm older. We have been super close forever. For a period of time, after we both got married we drifted a bit more as he had children (I don't have children) and got busier with them and I moved an hour away from him. However, the closeness is still there and he's still the first person I think of calling if I need help and I think he feels the same. Even when we don't see each other we are a constant presence in each other's lives. So, relax and enjoy. It's very possible that the relationship will continue. Even through their teen years..... My brother was always my partner in crime and we covered for each other all the time. To this day, there are still things that only we know about each other and private jokes we still share.

Hey Jen! Glad to see your old content back! I must say that I really love & miss your old content. Travel is not my thing so from time to time I check back to see if you have old content & here it is today! I hope one day the old content Jen comes back as you really did a lot for us & now I feel like you abandoned us but I understand you have to do what you have to do. However I noticed that your views are not what they used to be & so many people comment about your old content but you don't seem to consider that much. Anyhow just my two cents and I do love ya but your new content not so much. Hugs and Blessings 🙏♥️

Our Corgi suffered from Degenerative Myelopathy. When the disease progressed, we got him a wheelchair cart (Eddie's Wheels). It provided a bit more time to get outside and walk when he otherwise completely lacked movement in his hind legs. Love our pets! ❤

Wooow, the bit about neglecting your independence didn’t serve you. I’ve been married for 11 years and I feel this to my core. I love my husband and want to spend the rest of my life with him but I hope to find a balance of remaining true to myself as well. It’s tough! Any advice on doing that without divorce? It has crossed my mind if I’m being honest…

I totally resonate with you on the relationship your kids have currently. Seeing my 3 and 5 yr old boys be like best buddies just makes my mommy heart sing. And I keep telling them that please please stay connected no matter what stage in life you guys are in. Make time for each other even if it a text a day or a 5 minute phone call a day, as you get older.

Great video Jen. Love seeing you in all your resilient glory. Keep up the great work. As an almost 50 year old, I’d give the same advice to my 20 year old self too and maybe learn how to say no to things and stop people pleasing so much and have more boundaries.

Do yourself & your family a huge favor and remove the thought of riding a motorcycle from your mind! I rode motorcycles for 40+ years until 2013. That year was a crazy one! The amount of people on the roads today has grown tremendously and majority of them aren’t very good drivers. So please do ‘us’ a favor and forget about riding. 🤗

Hi, Jen. Long time viewer. You talked a lot about financial independence. This could be the perfect time to begin developing that and a career outside of youtube. TH-cam is amazing, but it may not be around forever. The kids are in school during the day, so you could squeeze in the time to take classes to pursue a career. Maybe something in healthcare? I know that you like caring for others, so that could be the perfect field for you. Anyway, just a suggestion.

@L. W. I know that youtube is a job. But Jen spoke a lot about financial independence. If youtube dries up, then what? She has the funds to pursue classes and work toward a certification or degree. I'm only a couple years younger than she is and just started a professional degree program. It is never too late.

Great to see a new and interactive video from you. Love your videos. Are you looking for video ideas? How about a clothing clean out/wardrobe video? It would be fun to see you try new styles, maybe fun summer looks? Maybe a partnership with Miss Louie or another YT stylist to make suggestions from a store like Nordstrom or Express or some company that does YT collabs? Book reviews? Crafting? Organization, How to take photos with a drone? You could really build out your YT channel by creating some of these more straightforward substantive videos (how to’s) which will attract new people. Just a thought.

Riding a motorcycle: absolutely not! I am going to talk on behalf of your mother and your kids. All the friends that I have or had, who are or were motorcycle riders, or had not one but several accidents, or died on their motorcycle. Your kids are still small and they need you. Your mother will die of fear knowing you on a motorcycle. It is much more dangerous than a car, ask any driving insurer. So sorry if I am a little authoritarian in my way of commenting here, it is just to attract your attention. There are so many things to do in life which don’t require to risk yours. It’s probably very fun, like on a bicycle but faster. But, no, not necessary. If you had no kids and no parents, no family, well, it would be stupid but it would only hurt yourself, but as a mother and a daughter, I highly recommend that you reconsider this idea. You won’t look less fun and wild, and you will look wiser. Sorry for my way of insisting heavily, I’m not your mother and I’m worried so I can imagine for her!
