    I almost skipped this when you said "this is not for beginners" but I thought I'd give it a shot and I was not disappointed, I know 3d basics but I've never used blender in my life and this tutorial was just beyond helpful, you went through everything that needed to be covered and made it seem super easy and simple, love this man I will be learning a lot more from your tutorials for sure 🙏

      Great! Glad you didn't get scared off. I try to make the tuts as easy as possible but some people get frustrated if it's too hard or too easy so I gotta find that middle ground

    I just wanted to let you know that I think you, are the best tutorial guy out there. You explain things super well, you show how to do little tricks even though its not a part of the tutorial. And I just love your way of explaining, I just watched a 1-hour video till 3am without knowing that it was so long. So your great and good night, I will be making something in blender with this not sure what!

If I had to guess for me it's because you are methodical and progress in a logical way that I would. Whatever it is I really do appreciate you and your tutorials.

  • @DavesChaoticBrain
    @DavesChaoticBrain 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    So, apparently, I'm advanced enough to follow along quite well but either something is broken, or I've missed a step. At the point where you clear the keyframes on the ground object, every keyframe I've made for every object gets wiped out. I've reselecting objects in different ways, I've selected keyframes in ways that I could tell if I had the wrong object selected when I did it, but no matter what I do, every keyframe goes away. Any thoughts?

    • @DerekElliott
      @DerekElliott  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a clear keyframes but also a delete single keyframe. Maybe that is what's happening?

    • @DavesChaoticBrain
      @DavesChaoticBrain 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DerekElliott No. At 36.16, right after naming GroundGrass, you right click on the Scale field under Render and you choose Clear Keyframes. That's exactly what I'm doing. Now, today what I'm noticing is that you don't seem to have any objects selected so I tried that as well. But whether or not I have the ground plane selected, or nothing at all, all my keyframes anywhere get wiped out. So, my car no longer moves and the grass on the car no longer grows. It's kind of weird.
