I paused your video when you got to a display with assortment of TR Badges, IAB's, LW PB's, etc. I couldnt believe the prices they were asking and that one DD M42 helmet for $5,500??..Is the guy nuts? It didnt even look like an original. Saw lots of reproductions of other items as well. The shows use to be a place to go for bargains but i guess its turned into a mess. No, thank you. I stick to my forums of trusted and vetted sellers that ive been dealing with for the past 20 years. I fear our hobby is turning into the path for the uber rich which is a shame because without new collectors there wont be anyone around to buy our stuff when we are ready to let it go.
I agree with you prices are way out of control making it hard for new comers to even waste their time going to some shows .over priced lots of fakes you need to be very wealthy to even buy good original items. No need for that it's just greed. Love your videos learn a lot thank you.
Well inflation isn't gasoline store so everything else goes up .but remember cash is king & you can do bartering still as there is more stuff than money & yes becarefull of fake confederate and german items sold as real some dealers know it's fake others don't so trust a ho est dealer
