I like stargazer features and it's spacious interior design but not it's exterior design looks like alien in the movie yeah. Hope they will add sunroof so I can see the rain drops and the stars haha.
Got the Stargazer GLS perfect mix of tech and discretionary driving, yung dika iistorbohin nang tech features.3500 pesos petron xcs from manila to san Fernando pampanga then back to manila then to Gubat Sorsogon thats around 600-700km..in Normal mode..may tira pa na almost 1/4 ang fuel..
Stargazer was definitely up there for our choices, but we just couldn't get over the shape of the dashboard which made us go with the Veloz. No regrets with the Veloz thought. :D
Same reason I was reluctant to get it but thankfully they now have the Stargazer X. Glad Hyundai addressed that dashboard design quickly.

Didn't hyundai revise the speedo frame this year? Previous model owners can also upgrade the old speedo frame too. Gotta applaud hyundai for quick response to customers input

@@DeoAlongbe careful on high steep road, Indonesia media tested veloz on an 18degree slope with stop and go. The cvt just failed to turn the wheels and stopped, with some smoke. Gotta wait the cvt to cool down and use momentum when the road is clear to make it. In the city it's fine tho

Stargazer (Mid variant) is the most sensible choice for me. It has the right amount of power, comfortability, features and everything.

Livina, ito yung 1st gen ng Xpander, bare type masyado.
Xpander bang for the buck din. Mas sulit kesa sa Rush. Ganda ng interior. Mind you same suspension sila ng Xpander Cross so mas maganda mag GLS Variant nalang.
Kesa mag Avanza G kayo, mag Veloz E nalang. Almost same price pero mas maganda ang offering. Bare type masyado ang Avanza.
Kung may extra budget then go for GAC GN6. Sobrang premium and powerful ang makina.
Hyundai really hit the spot with stargazer. They also revised the speedo frame and old owners can also modify it. The best all rounder

@@noski33 looking at the ratings and sales, mukhang mas satisfied nga mga tao sa xpander kesa sa rush. Lamang ang xpander sa interior space, fuel consumption, at suspension kesa sa rush. Siguro yun din yung rason kung bakit wala yung rush dito sa video. Di kasi siya fuel efficient. 🤣
@@LeTzPlaY100nakakapagod din i-drive yung Rush. Drove from Las Piñas to Pque then to Bataan, ngalay na ngalay yung driving foot ko. Masyado masikip yung leg space ng driver, tumatama yung right foot sa sides, walang ample room for foot movement

I drove the BR-V, and one time I got in-line with a Veloz beside me in a traffic light. When the traffic light turned green, I immediately noticed that I accelerated faster than the Veloz, and neither did I step on the accelerator too hard nor put the gear in S Mode at all. Does that mean the BR-V is actually the fastest in this list?

Very wrong i have the same veloz ang stargazer. Much powerfull and efficient si stargazer at higit sa lahat mas maluwag sa lahat ng aspect.

A big factor as well is the ease of maintenance and ground clearance for poor road conditions, flooding etc.
I'd go with the Stargazer X.
i agree. whenever i look for a car na bibilhin, yung car's ground clearance yung pinaka tinitignan ko kasi dito satin, konting ulan lang may baha na agad. Gas consumption and driving comfort comes next. bonus na lang yung accessories and tech features para sakin. As long as malamig aircon and may bluetooth, all goods na.
sa maintenance naman kasi is si casa na ang bahala and knowledgeable dapat tayong lahat pagdating sa basic car maintenance
I will pick xpander over this. Sa takbo pa lang angat na xpander super smooth refine takbo kahit puno 8passenger u cant hear the engine or any noise. Space same lang sila luwag s loob

Good old tatang of the 7 seater MPV... too bad na pag iiwanan na ng mga rivals nya.. aside from the pogi looks and ground clearance... has nothing more to offer

They missed to include Maxus G50. Their Premium AT is less 1.4M. It has sunroof, leatherette seats, wide screen, and other good features. Fuel efficient also. My daughter loves our Maxus, very comfy ride

I currently own Toyota Veloz. Veloz has the same engine sound with Vios. This might be the fuel efficient 7-Seat Wagon so far.
Veloz and Vios G trim has the sane 1NR engine

I'm perfectly happy with my avanza E cvt. It fits our budget. Everyday car. Road trip paminsan minsan. Kahit andami ibang tao nagsasabi ng sana ganito kinuha mo. Sana ganun. The correct response should only be, congratulations. 😅 Hindi naman sila ang mabgagayad mg monthly 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hyundai really hit the spot with stargazer. They also revised the speedo frame and old owners can also modify it. The best all rounder in my opinion. Just too bad the 6sp manual only comes in lowest 2 trims in Indonesia, banished from all the high tech features
7 seater MPVs, were only P1M in 2018, now its at P1.4M. that's how much 1M in 2018 is worth today?
Power and comfort ride GN6, otherwise Stargazer. These two are the most sulit in this list.

Another option under 1.4m 7 seaters would be montero. I got my montero sport glx 2023 at 1.3m(thanks to mitsubishi’s 265k discount)only.

@@walterwine yes, from 1.568m SRP down to 1.303m because of their discount (265k max I believe, depends on your agent tho) for the base model GLX M/T. I think the discount for A/T is around 100 to 120k.
Hi I'm just curious about Avanza and veloz I thought they just have same engine but different exterior how come the fuel economy is not the same?

12.54 km/l on the highway for the Ertiga hybrid? Interesting since the older Ertiga GL AT non-hybrid can do 9.5+ km/l in the city and up to 24 km/l on the highway. To this day, and on your online articles, still your most fuel efficient MPV for years.
Do you mean 12.54 km/l combined fuel economy? Been watching your videos and reading your articles for a long time. Your initial testing seems to suggest that fuel economy on the Hybrid is at least better in the city vs the non-hybrid. Just calling it out since this is a big disparity.

What's weird is that at 1:47 the Suzuki Eritga Mild Hybrid does 12.54 km/L in the highway which is the lowest among all other cars in this video including the XL7 which apparently does 20 km/L at 0:18. Hmm, that doesn't seem right.

Mild hybrids doesn't have heaven and earth effect sa fuel consumption. It helps but don't expect much.

Yes, they used to be below 1M, and back then you could buy a PPV SUV with A/T for that money. Even the Chinese cars and Indian cars are averaging 1M now.
Veloz and BR-V are really good options... I dont know much about the Stargazer. All the others are underpowered with oudated gearbox.
The Gac, well, is some Chinese brand that still needs to prove worthyness.

I’ve driven veloz, avanza, stargazer, and xpander. Best fuel economy and driving exp sa Stargazer X. Veloz is underpowered. Avanza is meh. Xpander lacks safety features.

honda has the power but looks basic. expander was my first choice but when i saw the veloz personaly, it was just perfect. interior exterior perferct. not as powerfull as the brv or hyundai stargaizer but it does its job. luxury feels and veloz trust me. expander looks basic sa luob i just wanted expander dahil sa ground clrearance but di naman nasabit ang veloz kaya good choice.
Lol xpander has a better interior than the veloz plus parang karo yung veloz

That's how it is pronounced in the US. But Koreans who work at Hyundai (watch their presscons) pronounce it as hyon-dei where the "i" is almost silent and the whole word is said fast.

Veloz, Livina, and Avanza. Eugh, all horrible cars. Livina with its complete neglect for the 3rd row, while Veloz and Avanza for its very "matag tag" ride quality and horrible NVH: not worthy of the price.
