You pick what will benefit you the most. Some traps will help you more than the monsters depending on your play style. Also remember that choosing to lower your threat also lowers your rewards. Only do this if you feel you need to to get to the boss.
Thx for the hints, but where can you exactly find that Keys? I have a quest where i need to open 3 doors in the rift to get a unique item and i dont find any Keys to them
The keys are found as rewards in the rift, i found my first one a few floors in. They are not very common. You want to check the doors each day because after a certain amount of time sometimes they will open on their own. You just have to be patient and keep going!
