1997 were the boys in my local bmxpark in cologne. in the evening they played as the opening act for lagwagon. best time.awesome memories!
Saw them 2000 with green day in cologne. the singer gave me a free cd from their actual record outside the venue.. few days later i realised it was him:-)
These guys take me back to a time where I could wake up on a sunny Saturday and go hangout with my friends.

How time flies! One of my favorite shows was the Bouncing Souls at the Nsect club way back in 1994. Never heard of them before that day. Needless to say they left quite a impression. Some time later saw them again at the Mercury Cafe in Denver. During the show the lead singer climbed way up in the ceiling rafters. I was thinking "what is this guy doing up there". He was looking down on the people and nodding his head like "you got me"? I couldn't believe it when he actually let go and fell about 15 feet and everyone caught him. Let me tell you that is one of the craziest things I have ever seen. It took big balls of steel to do that. Had they not caught him he could have broke his neck, back, legs, or ended up in coma. That day this guy put his life in the hands of his fans and they came through. A real testament to the punk rock movement of the 90's! I rarely listen to punk rock now and the scene is a world of difference from what is was. But I am glad to see these guys are still around. I salute thee!

PUNK ROCK MIGHT HAVE A DIFFERENT FLAVOUR NOW... BUT GO TO A LOCAL SHOW AT A HALL/ GARAGE /HOUSE AND YOU WILL FIND... PUNK ROCK AND PUNK ROCK ATTITUDE. With out commercial watering down I live 7kms from the nearest town. Upper North Island New Zealand small town farming mostly. anyway i was at the skate park with my 3 boy's and this young dude turns up double mohawk old jacket with a big incercled anti nazi flag on it black flag dead kennerdys crass minor threat patches went up had a good talk with him im 50 he's 14 years old the only punk in town AND HE GETS IT!!!! PUNK ROCK IS ALIVE AND KICKING one thing hasn't changed since i first got into punk 1984!!! Joe public are still hostile this young dude gets harassment all the time. Even his dad!!!! For fucks sake but he's into it and FUCK the haters
Outstanding camera work. Bouncing Souls represent all that's good with punk rock.
I've always loved these guys for their positive message and fun sound. I guess being true to ones self and saying real shit pays off in the long run.
The original drummer brought so much more to this band. They were never the same after he left. But! I still love them...

and with gone or true believers they created some outstanding songs, songs you can add to the best of of punkrock or melodic hardcore. songs you will still listen to in 30 years :-)

Really wish they played deadbeats. I was recently listening to the first album and I forgot all about that song. That song and "I'm in the in the inspection station... Waiting... To be inspected." Such great songs.

Man, that moment at 1:08:42 gets me every time. On top of Greg high fiving people in the crowd and the stage diving, you have all these people making space to dance together. That right there is the essence of a Souls show. What a band.
I saw this guys back in 2009 in Mexico, I was 14 years old and the show was at an old church, one of my favorite shows ever! I hope I have the chance to see them live again

w/e I kind of agree with you. Several months ago I made a Spotify list of my favorite bouncing souls songs of all time (there were like 50 😬) and I was surprised I had six on the list from GOTB. There were also three from Comet. Last year, I figured out the lyrics and guitar chords for never say die/when you’re young. They almost never play those songs. I see them at least twice a year, sometimes more. If you're lucky, you might Gasoline, Ghosts on the Boardwalk, Airport Security, or When You're Wrong, but those are rare, and when they do play them, they'll only play one.
They've been mixing up the set list a lot less the last few years. I brought my girlfriend along the last time that I saw them. I made a playlist for her two weeks before the show, so she would recognize the songs. The playlist had 20 songs on it, and they played 19 of them.

Bouncing Souls were my favorite band as a teen. Glad I got to see them live ~03 and crowd surfed to the stage back then. They don't have the same feel without McDermott. Greg was boring AF when I saw them, just grasped the mic and swayed back and forward. But, JOHNNY X AINT NEVER DONE THE RIGHT THING ANYWAY!
