I caught 23'4" tiger on a handline a couple of clicks off Weipa wharf, with hindsight it's something I'd wouldn't do again.I'd much rather caught a pan sized black bream,what a little legend !
Graham Whittaker wow mate. What a monster. I’m the same. I’d rather catch a good eating fish then a monster that I would have to just release. It was a very proud moment for me to witness him hook and wind that fish in all by him self.

I love Weipa. I used to live there and the fishing is amazing, especially on a boat.
