Dear Jade, I started watching your videos in summer 2019. I went on an interrail trip and needed some tips for packing and some impressions of interrailing in general. For me it was the summer between finishing school and starting university. That time little did I know what struggle and pain I had in front of me. But thankfully I followed this girl who was all about studying, mental health, slow life and meditation which helped and guided me through those years. And yeah let me tell you, last week I finished my law degree in Austria, Vienna. Thank you for having my back (even though you don't know me). Liebe Grüße, Kathi 💗
I'm glad you have been enjoying your time here in Germany :-) Personally I think that the most beautiful parts of Germany are not our big cities but rather small towns, villages and nature...but I also think that you can find beauty in any chosen place if you're open to see it
I just got my German language exam results back and I got a good enough score to start my German University application!!! I've been learning the language for about 3 years and it's so satisfying to see the hard work pay off but sometimes I still can't believe that this is real life :)

Regarding southern Germany you've got to visit Freiburg, Villingen or Rottweil they have verry beautifull city centers.

I had exactly the same issue with feeling like I had no personality when I was learning Italian. It’s one of the most frustrating parts about language learning for sure!

Hey Jade! I saw your post this evening, just when I had a warm cup of matcha latte made for myself. It was definitely magical to watch your travels in Germany while having a nice cup of tea. Went to koln in feb 2020 and accidentally ended up at koln karnival. Awesome, definitely recommend going then it’s such good fun! The songs got me through lock down too!

Hallo Jade! Ich komme aus Irland und wie dich habe ich in Deutschland verliebt. Ich habe auch ein paar Mal in Deutschland gereist und deshalb habe ich entschieden, Deutsch an der Uni zu lernen. In Mai bin ich mit einen deutschen Gastfamilie in der Nähe von Köln geblieben und es war eine tolle Erfahrung; da gab es immer einen gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Es ist toll das deine Reise auch dich Spaß gemacht hat, ich glaube dass Deutschland so eine interessanten Land ist; voller Geschicht, und ich bin immer so glücklich und beeindruckt wann ich da bin.
Und ich muss auch sagen dass Little Miss Sunshine ein wunderbaren Film ist! - Dearbhaile 🥰

Hi Jade! Have you made a video before about safety while solo backpacking as a woman? Trying to figure out how to convince my parents it can be done safely because I'm trying to plan a trip for next summer and think I would love being able to move at my own pace and reflect!
Yeah, today (30th June) was a very rainy days. It was raining cats and dogs when I was on my way home after church.

Thank you so so much!! I do my best to avoid fast fashion so I shop at a range of charity/thrift shops, sustainable fashion companies (like Lucy and Yak, Oh Seven Days, Reformation) and I do clothes swaps with friends which is how I’ve found some of my favourite pieces!! I’ll also invest in high quality pieces that last forever, like my purple denim jacket from Levi’s 💜🦋

It's "schlechte Kleidung" because it's more than just a piece of clothing. But German Grammar is somekind of boss level so don't mind that little mistake. And German humor can be terrifying. It's hard out here 😂 but beautiful at the same time.
