Like your selection of old Ford trucks (the '63 F-250, the '60 F-600.) Used to have some in my younger day. I drive by yards that have old stuff parked and think that some of them will likely start and come to life with some coaching and clean fuel. These trucks are for those that can drive them and not just be steering wheel holders.
Nice cold start Russell I don't know if you watch other TH-camrs but Matt from Diesel Creek has a couple of Auto cars one I believe is 1950s model and the other is 1980! 👍
Sounded like you're bleeding air out somewhere in the Cab [behind the dash or under the floor]. Get a roll of hose and a box of fittings from the wrecker and start replacing that old hose. It weather checks and dries out just from age alone. Beautiful old daycab though. You could pop a sleeper on it and maybe a pusher axle and run it [or sell it]. Great shape though eh? Nice!

Autocar western star whites 4000/9000 all used the identical cabs, unfortunately they were all steel and they rusted out if not looked after.
