Pitching is easy. Need to be neutrally balanced through load with stacked external rotation with a combo lateral acceleration and rotational momentum towards the mound with a delayed hip hinge with max hip shoulder separation and firm front leg and exaggerated arm swing with balance. A lot of people make it complicated but it’s really that simple.
I've been watching your videos (also sometimes train with a guy who came to you from the uk) for a couple of months now and can actually feel improvement.
The drift is simply a shifting of weight away from the rubber. Sure some people can tilt their body’s away but some can’t get away with that. The drift can be a 15 degree lean away from the rubber but don’t get too carried away. It should just simply be a shifting of weight away from the rubber. You can look up treads trx drill to get a better visual understanding
Even a step back drill can help you get the drift automatically without thinking to drift because your center of mass should already be away from the rubber because you are stepping back. Also check out treads recent Instagram post where they used a external cue of looking at a wall facing in front of them and seeing how your weight shift changes what you are looking at in front of you
Hey Ben, I know you guys aren’t doctors but I’ve always had this question. I’m pretty sure I know the answer but I’m gonna ask it anyway. Is there ever a right time to get the cortisone shot? Or is there never a good time because all it does it mask the pain. I know it weakens tendons and ligaments but if thats the case what if you just make sure that your always doing excercises to those areas to make sure there strong as possible. Just curious. Great video btw!
All great points, as far as timing of a cortisone shot, ultimately in the orthopedic world today it is becoming more and more popular to address the site of pain and reduce inflammation rather than addressing the issue at hand.

Love to see it!
A little bit of Adam’s Song instrumental running in the background?! That’s legit
Looking forward to working on this
Thanks
How do I stay stacked during the drift? I think the leaning motion of the drift always makes me leak forward

Is your core supposed to stay engaged throughout the load of the throw? Or is it more relaxed?
I’ve been wondering this cuz when it comes to lifting there is core bracing so I’m curious if that could work on the mound

Stupid question by me but this requires hip hinging/glute loading right?
You would be correct!
How do you teach players to stay in their back leg without falling forward?
