I've got most of my back done and honestly it's not that bad! Hardest part was putting ointment on the tat, so hard to reach haha

Omg yes! Welcome to the club! I got my whole back tattooed and finished a couple months ago and man! The pain was unreal I would get in my car after the sessions and just cry lol the healing is the worst part so good luck! ❤️
Very nice tattoo work. Fall and winter is the best time to get tattooed for me. The summer always outdoors rock climbing and spending time at Blacks beach!

speaking as a tattoo artist, dont shave yourself before you go! if you give yourself razor burn at all, we cannot tattoo that area!
i dont know why people think pre shaving is a good idea .... if they use a crap razor and irritate the skin its goin to be hell for a tattooist to work on. fresh is best

Hoping to get the tattoo I’ve always wanted for my 26th bday this year! It’s way bigger than the one you have on your back so it’s gonna probably hurt 10X more 😰 still working out and trying to tightening up my body before I get it.
Do you prefer saniderm or just having your fresh tattoos wrapped for a few hours in a plastic wrap? I just had my first tattooing experience with saniderm and tbh I wish way more artists used it
I’ve only had one tattoo of mine that was wrapped in saniderm and I absolutely hated it, the saniderm didn’t come off fully in the shower and the sticky residue stayed on my skin so the fluff on my sweater stuck to it and it was just a mess
@@jeancarr3908 I had a lot of residue with my saniderm as well, but I felt that the itch factor went way down when I used it
I’ve really enjoyed Tegaderm. I skipped basically the whole peeling process on my half sleeve.
I got both but my skin doesn't accept saniderm and was like burn and I loose a lot of the color so I don't like it 😅

The one and only tattoo I have is down my spine and omg it hurt the whole time I was just in a mediation state 😂😂 I sat through the 1hr 1/2 and finish it because I knew if I didn’t suck it up and finish it I was sure as hell not going back 😂😂

God I would love a back tattoo, I have 3 smaller ones total and they hurt so bad, like the second one I got straight up made me pass out from pain, I've always had a shitty pain tolerance, I'm talkin like a if I my cut knee youd think I'd have lost my leg. I get annoyed at myself all the time.
I've thought about getting numbing cream for future tattoos because I love the way they look, but some people are so horrible about numbing creams it's crazy

@@lizilemon610 There's a pic of my back piece, i healed up fine, hopefully your artist is pretty good and will give you a break, some spots were so brutal i just pushed through it, remember pain is temporary. Good luck !

Alexis B I have my back outlined, it starts at the bottom left and works the way up to my spine, I could only handle the outline, it itched so bad and I had to wear a uniform with my shirt tucked in and it stuck to it
