I bawled and bawled and bawled while watching this episode. I'm 37,5 years old and never been well, I'm in the process of healing but still not able to function properly or work, and this has been going on for years and years. So I can relate to this story so well. The desperation, anger and sorrow is real. Frustration over the fact that I've spent my best years in bed. But one day it'll be my turn! ☝💪
This scene made me cry as I watched. When Jesus spoke to the paralyzed man I felt Him speaking directly to me. God was telling me to stop looking back and reliving pain and giving evil access to you. It was as if Jesus was saying to me do you choose me and what I have for you right now. God bless all of you on The Chosen. Thank you for being a blessing. All Glory to God.
Remember that the evil one's attacks on you are relentless. He will use any weakness from your past to try and destroy your faith. Call upon St. Michael to protect you. It will work every time. I do it hundreds of times each day.

I want this show so bad. I know season two comes out in September and I really want them. I also want the hoodie that says I was once one way now I'm completely different and what happend in between was him. I also want the teal zip up hoodie and the what it means to be chosen. I have the two devotional 40 days with Jesus books mask and a beanie would be great and a hat and black zip up hoodie for my Husband. We can't afford it right now I'm currently trying to get baptized watching shows like this help me understand more 😩

Thank you so much for sharing the making behind the miracle of the paralytic. I really connected to this story and still do. Often times in addition to physical limitations or disorders, many of us can go through a “spiritual paralysis” and often want to give up or go through the motions, until Jesus finally steps in and asks - “Do you want to be healed?” That was a very profound moment for me so thank you!

My very very favorite episode of Season 2. I love Jesse. Man, I just love them all. Each actor brings that special something to the character they are playing that makes you identify with them.. You feel as though you know them personally. Great job Dallas and team.
I love this show and was happy to be able to contribute to keep it going. Have already viewed season 1 and what is available to see in season 2. Everything about it is special. The wardrobe, the dialogue, the scenery, the acting all bring the characters to life. Also love that there is a sense of humor in each. It makes them relatable and real. Cannot wait to see more!!

What I reacted to more than the man getting healed by Jesus, is when the brother (Simon) sees his brother walking and remembers what he said to him that when he sees him healed then he’ll believe the Messiah has come. Hallelujah!
The opening segment of this episode was the perfect storm of great writing, editing, camera angles, and, most of all, acting. I felt the ebb and flow of hope, desperation and hopelessness throughout. Wonderfully done!
I had to search up the actor who played the younger brother because i was SO captured by his amazing acting. All the emotions of built up anger, frustration and hopelessness were conveyed so well during the conversation with Jesus.
This was definitely one of my favorite scenes of S2! The power of seeing Jesse healed of both physical AND emotional pain after years of struggle was just overwhelming. What a blessing to see even a re-enactment of this miracle. So well done, Dallas! 💗

When I first saw the episode, I thought it was as incredible. While reading the Bible last night I came to this very story, and am now seeing this. Our Lord has such perfect timing, doesn’t He? Dallas does such an incredible job being the writer, director and up lifter in this show. The acting is top notch and the music is as well. I cannot wait for season 3.
This is one of my favorite scenes. First, Jonathan (Jonathan) (Jesus) and Jesse did a great job conversating. I like how Dallas made sure everyone got in the pool at the right time. Everyone did a great job including the ones who jumped into the pool. Some times, I like watching the Pool of Bethesda scene on youtube too.
This is by far my favourite episode of Season 2. I love the actor who plays Jesse. He showed so much emotion trying to be healed and no one will help him. Such outstanding acting.

Ya that episode was fantastic..... indeed a perfect episode with great storytelling..... seeing the effort behind it..... the efforts were worth it. Jesus coming at bathesda healing the man... which prevents a murder... wow it was amazing...
It was absolutely heartbreaking watching Jesse struggle to get there every time! But it helped knowing what was coming next haha. Sometimes it can be so easy to forget that these people we read about are more than the few sentences written about them. They have a whole life and a backstory leading up to these moments and then more afterward. That's one of the things I love most about this series. It reminds me that these are all people just like me and Jesus used and chose them.
Yeah, most of every scenes were all touching and moving that felt so real and natural. Not too cheesy or flaky. Aside from the healing of the Leper, this Bethesda scene with the character Jesse is my most favorite part of all. 💖👍 He acted so well. You can see the emotions he burst out due to extreme frustration and hopelessness. He blends well with the compassionate Jesus that it made it so perfect. I both cried with happiness and redemption when he finally can walk and dance because he reunited with his Brother who abandoned him to avenge their father from the Romans.
You can really feel the Holy Spirit in your work. I pray everyone involved & watching continues to allow the Spirit of God to guide them along the path He has set forth before us.
Wow. Dennis Apergis, " The questions that Jesus asks--'I'm not asking who did what or isn't helping you. I'm not asking who's getting in your way...I'm asking about YOU.' And that's the hardest part, I think, with Jesse to turn around and see what part of his paralysis he's responsible for, meaning his emotional, spiritual...He's chosen to stay in one place, not continue with his life. This is everyone's story. We all at some point in our life feel stuck. And we just get into a pattern and we just become okay with it and it defines us." What a description of apathy that truly hits home with me.
Why haven’t I ever seen actor Dennis Apergis in other films or TV shows?! @4:38 He’s amazing!! That scene when he meets Jesus and then is healed by Jesus- incredible!! A very talented actor. Jonathan Roumie as Jesus is also extraordinarily skilled in his craft- both fantastic!! God bless!!

Ya that episode was fantastic..... indeed a perfect episode with great storytelling..... seeing the effort behind it..... the efforts were worth it. Jesus coming at bathesda healing the man... which prevents a murder... wow it was amazing...
It was absolutely heartbreaking watching Jesse struggle to get there every time! But it helped knowing what was coming next haha. Sometimes it can be so easy to forget that these people we read about are more than the few sentences written about them. They have a whole life and a backstory leading up to these moments and then more afterward. That's one of the things I love most about this series. It reminds me that these are all people just like me and Jesus used and chose them.
Yeah, most of every scenes were all touching and moving that felt so real and natural. Not too cheesy or flaky. Aside from the healing of the Leper, this Bethesda scene with the character Jesse is my most favorite part of all. 💖👍 He acted so well. You can see the emotions he burst out due to extreme frustration and hopelessness. He blends well with the compassionate Jesus that it made it so perfect. I both cried with happiness and redemption when he finally can walk and dance because he reunited with his Brother who abandoned him to avenge their father from the Romans.
You can really feel the Holy Spirit in your work. I pray everyone involved & watching continues to allow the Spirit of God to guide them along the path He has set forth before us.
This is my favorite episode, it brought joy at my heart, healing at the pool ❤️🩹

Wow. Dennis Apergis, " The questions that Jesus asks--'I'm not asking who did what or isn't helping you. I'm not asking who's getting in your way...I'm asking about YOU.' And that's the hardest part, I think, with Jesse to turn around and see what part of his paralysis he's responsible for, meaning his emotional, spiritual...He's chosen to stay in one place, not continue with his life.
This is everyone's story. We all at some point in our life feel stuck. And we just get into a pattern and we just become okay with it and it defines us." What a description of apathy that truly hits home with me.

LOVE THIS SHOW!!! This scene was so amazing. What I loved the most was how intentional the timing was. We know Jesus did nothing by accident or happenstance. This showed just how important Jesus made every moment. Loved it!!
