I truly think G2 is still underrated by some people. Valyn's IGL and brains are now true.
They were always solid even since the GUARD days with the exception of icy of course but it’s always been exceptional trading and team play and now their strats and layering like on post plant is making them one of the top contenders in NA
@@eshayslayer802 the icy of the original guard core was sayaplayer who even in T1 is still underrated. i swear, the guard core + leaf and icy has always been underrated
They will still be underrated now that Sentinels made it to Champions.

@@Nizzerton most americas ascension teams are so tier 1 level, m80 (both 2023 with johnqt and now with bcj and neT), oxygen, and darkzero (turtle troop core) are incredible teams and could beat half of tier 1 in americas aside from probably sentinels, g2, 100t, leviatan, kru
I never doubted my goat the guard core, I knew that if it werent for franchising theyd still be the best NA team
if they did get franchised, we'd still have the korean jett sayaplayer with the guard imo which would've been cool. considering that guard core beat optic in NA's grand finals during 2022
kinda crazy this team almost didnt get to join VCT because they couldnt find sponsors in time
it wasn't due to sponsors, it was because Riot didn't want to franchise with a not so reliable org. Hence why even Optic didn't get franchised
as much as people hate G2 Valorant as an org, they really were clutch for the guard core
Even with all that talent 100T never fail to fail

G2 has always been really good. I still remember their run as Team Guard, where they destroyed every team in NA and secured the number one seed, but later on, they got smashed by teams from other regions.
How can people forget that G2 is the team which was previously called The Gaurd and they did 13-0 against 100T way back
And then got destroyed by 100T in the rematch not to mention 100T beat them 2-0

If Only G2 had oxy or sayaplayer. If oxy had a team like g2 ,he would run circles around the opposition. also dropping Net and putting leaf on sentinel was a great call . Guy have defender brain with a duelist's aim .

I'm actually confused with why they hire people to cast the game who know absolutely nothing about valorant. It's actually a pain to watch because of how bad this Vansili guy is at casting. What happened to babybay? Can we get ex pro players to cast the games? Or at least someone who knows a little about the game/the terms, that are typically used.
not saying that this vansili guy is a bad caster, he's just a bad caster for this game because he has 0 knowledge. Put him in call of duty or csgo he'd be fine.
