The story chronicles the experiences of force-sensitive clone, X2, who is assigned to Jedi Master Ferroda along with his brother X1.
The two are charged with the duty of training clones before and during the Clone Wars.
Their missions include defending a training camp on Tatooine, fighting in the Battle of Coruscant, and assisting in the Battle of Cato Neimoidia.
During the Battle of Cato Neimodia, Order 66 is issued and X2 is ordered to kill Jedi Master Ferroda, an action he would carry out against his better judgments.
After the Clone Wars, X1 joins the Galactic Empire, whereas X2 goes rogue, forever haunted by the memory of killing Ferroda during Order 66.
X2 then travels to the planet of Dantooine to meet his genetic father and Jedi Master Falon Grey. Grey teaches X2 how to use his force abilities properly, beginning his Jedi training. Not long into his training, his location is discovered by the Galactic Empire, prompting an assault on the planet led by X1. X2 and Grey attempt to escape the planet but are ultimately defeated leaving Falon Grey dead and X2 badly wounded.

It’s sad, a lot of Star Wars fans forgot about this. It was originally Star Wars battlefront 3 but was cut and remade for the PSP. This game is amazing and needs some attention.

@@Pvt.Conscriptovich Yep. Renegade Squadron is the most lesser known Battlefront and it's actually pretty damn good. Especially the Galactic Conquest mode.

Facts
For those curious, this game is the result of the canceled 'Battlefront 3' by free radical. The story of this game's campaign was originally the plot of Battlefront 3.
Most of it is there, yeah, but there was more to the campaign and some details were changed.

I remember playing this on the DS. I loved the story. Hopefully these characters would be considered canon one day, but I'm not holding my breath.
They are canon to me. More the new trilogy and EU.

the reason is the customization, if they add the wrist blasters they have to add it to all the skins, imagine a rebel firing blaster rounds with his wrist

I played this game on my nintendo DS. BEST STAR WARS GAME. They need to make a remastered version. The story is to good.

With the bad batch being introduced as specialized clones they could definitely bring X-1 and 2 back into canon
My idea for a canon version of this is to have the two clone brothers be Jango Fett clones that are ARC Troopers, one of them gets their inhibitor chip damaged during a fight and thus doesn’t execute Order 66 while the other clone does. Then in the Imperial Era the good brother eventually joins the Rebellion/New Republic while the evil brother becomes a Purge Trooper Commander, and later an Imperial Warlord like Moff Gideon in Mando

I played this on my DS when I was a kid. It was a simple top down shooter, but I loved it, didn’t know there was a badass PSP version with full shooter mechanics. I still wouldn’t trade that DS game for the world, it’s got too many memories.
This and Commando are my alltime favorite SW games..

@@nikolaimaharaj2319 I'm trying to remember, since it's been a long time since I played it... I think the main point was how it expanded on the dialogue. Since its dialogue essentially consisted of dialogue boxes, it cost no extra money to add more, so conversations that last seconds in the PSP version lasted minutes in the DS version, expanding on the story and characters a lot more.
I had the DS version, and I was at the last fight with X-1, but the he pulled up those damned magma balls, and I couldn't figure out what to do to beat him.
@@blackhawk3975 Use the technician class and keep firing that lightning bolt that momentarily freezes enemies while running away from X1. Repetitive and not all that exciting, but it gets the job done

I used to play this everyday on the PSP. I wish and hope the next battlefront game is like this, where you can fight on the planet and in space at the same time unlike the current battlefront 2 game

I look at the Star Destroyers after you defeat the Empire. They aren't Imperial I or Imperial II Star Destroyers. They almost look like a heavy cruiser that the Empire was planning to build
I have this on my psp, beat it on all difficulties, and then my psp broke rip, this was one of the first star wars games i ever played and LOVED IT!

They should integrate all the original Battlefront games, Force unleashed, Jedi Knights, Jedi Academy and SWTOR/KOTOR. I don't mind if something is changed by Disney to better fit canon as long as most stays the same especially the characters
