Mystery Recording on my Revox A77 MKII Suitcase Version

The recording you're going to hear comes from the very early 1960's as these particular tapes were not manufactured after that.

Possibly an old peoples Christmas dinner held, somewhere, by Mr. & Mrs. Philips. The tape could easily go back to the early 1970's, Harvey. I suppose that since you work just on Reel to Reel machines, Harvey, then may be just call the site "Harvey's Vintage Tape Recorders.

Hi Harvey nice tape recorder. Where do you buy these Revox A77 from? I would like to get a Revox A77 that plays at 15ips. But the one's I find on ebay, are well out of what I can afford.

Thanks Mark. The prices are going crazy on Ebay, but I tend to find if the machine is collect only they go for much less so I can only suggest that you just keep an eye out for collection only or look on F/book marketplace.
