I can't thank you enough for putting this all into layman's terms for me. My daughter was diagnosed with ANCA Vasculitis last month. I have been searching all I can to learn about this disease.
Kasey Daugherty please would you be able to give more information on this...just found out today my dad it..I'm really worried
I am so sorry I'm just now seeing this. I hope your dad got treatment. They gave my daughter steroids in the form of prednisone, a blood transfusion, lots of iron infusions, and eventually when they figured it out that she had anca vasculitis (after a kidney biopsy) they moved her to oncology and started giving her Rituxan infusions. It's been 5 years no relapse. ♡♡ Thankful to God.
After 14 years of having a kidney transplant doctors have just found that the original cause of my renal failure is/was wegners granulomatosis. This is a great explanation of how it all works.
who was actually giving this presentation .... tht is just awesome .....
What an excellent presentation
Very good lecture
thank you for the ANCA Vasculitis specific explaination. I'm researching in effort to help save my daughters life. She was recently dx w/MPA at age 14. She now has stage 5 kidney failure and requires dialysis 3 times wkly.
Cathy Miller I was 14 as well when I went into kidney failure. I have now had a transplant for 14 years. Have faith, stay strong and keep on keeping on. The battle can be won!
reserach monocyte chemoattractant protein and the fact that melatonin -- but this would only apply for patients before they are at stage 2 i believe and also functional medicine is a must for all unusual conditions
Thank you very much
This was very helpful.. Thank you!
ow i found it now.. back when I got sick there wasnt much info to find about it.. I had it when i was 15... it killed my kidneys very fast completly... I'm with kidney transplant 12 years now.. but sadly failing again and... I dont know :( dont wanna go through it again.... at leats anca is "asleep" so doesnt do new harm.. still enough to strugle with what it did back then
Thank you.
Like
great. congratulations. thanks
great lecture sir
Why does this happen.. I have Lupus for 30+ years and developed vascularitis of the legs in 2016...
I did cyclophosphamide, and now Rituxan, and my ANCA score has never gotten below 100 and sometimes goes up to 200. Why?
can also the liver be damaged by ANCA POSITIEVE!! I've chronic leukocytose and high liver enzyme gamma gt and alkokische fostate
