I’m Canadian and have never been to a Meijer store as yet, but my husband did last year on a road trip to FarmAid. He brought me back such cool things that I can’t wait to go visit one myself.
Stupid, tear down the old building, put up a dumb marker. Just like the old city hall in Grand Rapids, torn down, and a picture of the building instead. Not that the old Meijer was a beautiful building, but it was a bit of their history. Dumb to tear it down.

I grew up in Arizona. Meijer is very similar to what we had out there, which was a Smitty's Big Town.
