RangFrah (God) is adopted in the year mid 1990s.Late, Er. Latsam khimhun the founder and RFPS general secretary of RangFrahsim.the RFPS HQ is in Changlang District Arunachal Pradesh (India).Rangfrah is an indigeneous worshipped by many communities in Arunachal Pradesh in India.The term "Rangfrah" means "god of the skies".
Rangfraa is term God in Tangsa, Tutsa,Hawoi and Nocte languages. The followers of Rangfraa are called "Rangfraites".The place of spiritual practice is called"Rangsowmhum".
"Rangsowmhum" is the symbolic of "Fraa". "Fraa" is the depiction of ideal human being or God in human form as per the mythologies of Tangsa, Tutsa,Hawoi and Nocte communities. The path to reach "Fraa", the liberated soul is called "Rang-lam", (meaning "Dharma" in Hindi).
Rangfraism attempts to attain world peace through attaining individual peace. Rangfraism chooses to understand God.
