    Thank you for this insightful video
    I started planting egusi/ wild melon in Kaduna in early May on my garden and they are doing well. It's among the high demand crops that I will plant on a larger scale in 2024 by God's grace for food security in Nigeria.
    Although, I'm an agric engineer, I still got some useful tips on culturing, harvesting, storage, and record keeping, before I start harvesting in a few weeks.

    Good !
    I'm here. I love to plant on 5plots out of my 9plots.Thank God I came across your channel today. I can't wait to plant my Egusi.
    Where can I get ROUNDUP HERBICIDE as it's not available in Lagos island where I buy my farming materials. Also how do you spray the paraquat herbicide without affecting the melons. Your response will be highly appreciated!
    Thank you.

    I will appreciate your view in that regard. Thank you bro.

    Good video, was looking for a post emergence herbicide for egusi, so my question is, how perfect is the work of gallant super on speargrass, my egusi is already 2 weeks old.
    Spear grass are the only grass on the farm land of 1 acre, really need to control it

      @stablerockhq  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hard to put a price. However, I’ll leave you with 3 key points.
      -Advisable to get the seeds usually during harvest season as they are cheaper.
      -Some livestock manure will help with better yield.
      -Applying insecticide during fruiting is important for a bumper harvest

    Thank you sir for your well explained videos pls sir how do i get the seeds..

    • @stablerockhq

      Seeds are available in local markets. If the seeds look healthy, big, and have not been dehulled yet, you’re good to go.

    Oga, what crop is good to plant after harvest of egusi?
    How can I get government support to farm?
    Thank you sir

    • @stablerockhq
      @stablerockhq  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We usually plant sesame after egusi. We have never been disappointed.
      As for the second question, maybe try BOA, SMEDAN, or NIRSAL. I can’t guarantee support though. It’s still worth a try

    Our people here uses cutlass to as opening up the equsi balls

    • @stablerockhq

      It’s not advisable because some of the seeds may be damaged. By the time you do that to 100s or 1000s of fruits, you’ll see that many seeds would have been damaged
