It looks like you have turned the lock unlock sound OFF. Which will also disable the anti theft alarm in your vehicle.
Please turn the lock unlock sound ON by pressing the lock and unlock buttons together on your smart key and then try this.
Bullshit...my 6 months old Hyundai i20 stolen just like that.just in 5 min..thief came up in his own i20 wid something wid him nd he decode the key nd 2nd guy came out from that car after 5 min,open up my car nd he drove it away like a charm, like my keys are in his pocket..i was shocked.i will not go on Hyundai again ever,whatever the fancy features they give.

You should try to open the door by non sensor duplicate key from local key maker. Then see how your car security reacts

Just hold and press the unlock and lock button till you see indicators blink 4 times
First of all all cars are equipped with immobilization function, even if you start your car by hotwire and the key is not detected your vehicle will get locked! So whatever features are equipped they are realtime scenarios covered before you can get it in car
Elite i20 doesn't even have a burglar alarm that ur car has...so be happy

i20 has immobiliser which means engine will only start if smart key is present and it sends a unique code to the chip. Hot wire doesn’t work if car has immobiliser. Even if someone is entered in car they won’t be able to start the engine if immobiliser is working.
Enable the lock unlock sound and try again..

Hot wiring is almost impossible in modern cars especially push button start. Someone need access to actual key or its possible by relay method. Although hyundai must have installed shock alarm system

Try hotwiting it will definitely ring a ding. The idea is to stop making unnecessary irritating noises if a cow or people touch or rub against the car. What happens if you locked your car and kids rubs or touch your car?? It will set off the alarm. Now just imagine the number of times your car getting touched and making irritating noises every time it get touched
