Do I have $500 to spend? Yes. Do I want to? No. I'm not a hardcore gamer even though I have a powerful PC for that. Series S sounds like a good fit for me.
@@drabnail777 it’s also very hard to get the base 500 dollar series x in oppose to the series s like srsly I’ve been trying for months and I just now gave up
i’m down to wait until the ps5 isn’t sold out, because i have xbox game pass for pc and a switch so i can wait out getting a ps5 and then i can pick and choose what games i get on the PS5, the ones i really wanna play. that’s the ideal set up for gamers today
If you're still deciding, let me help: for those of you who had the Xbox one or one s, did you care that you didn't have the one x? If you didn't care about that, then you won't care about this. If the series s was 50 dollars cheaper, then you could buy two of them for the price of one series x. It's not worth it, unless you really need either the storage space or disc drive. But those should be the only two deciding factors. The difference in computing power is only something you'll notice if you compare it to other people. Every game you get will look great and even better than the games on last gen. Don't fool yourself into thinking that just because something better exists that you need to go for it. Save the two hundred dollars. The Series S is a great console and even better than last gen stuff. Think about what the previous Xbox's could run: RDR2, Forza Horizon 4, Gears of War 5, etc. All those games look gorgeous on the older systems, do you really think you're going to need an improvement on that? The series S is already better than last gen, and a way better deal, plus they're actually in stock, so if none of the other reasoning helped you, at least you're able to get a series s right now instead of waiting for the other one to come in stock
I could not have said it any better. Not to mention that expanding the SSD storage is easy. Just buy the expansion card and pop it in to the back of the console.
Honestly I just want to play the enhanced GTA 5, my game library is full of both physical and digital games but I plan on keeping my Xbox One S for my disks and Blu ray, I would get the Series X but I can't find one for a reasonable price, the Series S however I can. I'm thinking of getting a S to play until I can get an affordable X, also an S is a good console to take if I'm going somewhere since it's really small. I was also thinking of just waiting for an X but idk
@@trevorcostello2063 Yeah all solved with money that could have bought series x in the first place... only now youre left with 20cu@1550 gpu when mid tier amd gpus like rx6600 are going to have 40cus@2100mhz. I just cant imagine how hopeless series s is going to look in 3 years.
Here's the thing, Series S for me is a perfect purchase. I value the compactness of the Series S as I travel between Taiwan and California quite a lot and have to carry the console around for me. I used to have the original Xbox, a thicc dingus that will take up an entire hand carry luggage and often means that I have to pay for the steep airline rate for extra luggage, but now with the series S, the whole console feels not too much bigger than just the ac adaptor of the original Xbox One, and I can just throw it in my clothing pile when I'm packing. The compactness of the Series S probably saved me hundreds in luggage fees down the line. And looking at how big a PS5 and a series X is, I feel like this is the right choice
Don’t forget about the storage price. The main reason I recommended my little brother to get the x is that it comes with like 400gbs more storage instead of paying 200 bucks for the storage upgrade on the s. If you’re gonna do that then the 200 you would’ve spent on storage could’ve just been used to get the x which has more power and more built in storage
That's a good point. But don't forget, you only need that hyper-fast storage for true Xbox Series games. For OG Xbox, 360 and One games, you can use any old external HDD or SSD. I for one don't foresee myself needing more than ~500GB of next-gen storage.
@@Nob911 I mean, one machine can do 4K 60fps, whereas the other machine cannot. That pretty much tells you what you need to know about power difference between the two without considering any of the other specs.
A lot of people forget you can chart games back and forth from an external hard drive. I can play the series X/S games on my main hard drive to the external back to hard drive in like 10 minutes or less. Modern Warfare took 7 minutes to transfer which is nothing.
I have had the Series S for a week now and i love it. Games load faster and i have quick resume. All my last Generation games run a lot smoother. It's a Great time to be a Gamer.
@@hey_its_horacio The performance is good, maybe not for really new games in the future but graphics are better than Xbox one x which is great. So buddy don't worry the graphics are actually near normal for pc which is great don't worry.
The series S does upscale to 4K. I have a Samsung 65” UHD 4K smart TV and I will say yes the console is capable of doing 4K and it looks amazing. Keep it mind it upscales to 4K where the X is native 4K either way when you upscale it to 4K it still looks amazing.
@@AstrotoydlePlease don't get confused. If you have a 4K screen, PLEASE buy the Series X. If you have a 1080p screen, the Series S will be almost the same.
Series X isn't native 4k neither. It outputs 4k, but the actual internal render resolution varies by games. For the last gen, we've been playing games running at 900p and upsacled to 1080p, and it is the same with next gen. I've seen websites saying some xbox series game render at 1556p, or something like that. So both X and S are upscaling
The main reason I find the Series S more appealing personally, other than the price and looks, is that I think of it this way: I play on my regular Xbox One, and don't see a single pixel, or complain about the graphics at all. Now, you take that, make it 2K, and add ray tracing, all for only 300 dollars.
Same. I think for FPS players and online competitive gaming (cod, fortnight etc), the differences between the s and the x is negligible. Its not until you get into large open world RPG games until the differences can be noticeable with the S running lower FPS and resolution. All in all tho the S looks like a great upgrade to anyone with a stock xbox one.
If you have a 4K TV and play relatively close to it, 1080p looks like absolute crap. 1440p looks decent, but 4k looks absolutely sharp and clear. I remember when I had my Xbox One S and I moved from a 22' 1080p monitor to a 43' 4K TV and everything just looked like it had been coated in vaseline. Now I have a gaming PC and playing games like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 or Forza Horizon 3 at 4K the sharpness is just on another level.
@AlwaysGia if you have 4k tv the image will upscale and be shit quality just spend 200 more get the better one that will last and run games better for several more years
I bought a series s on ebay for 600 cuz I don't feel like waiting anymore to play my favorite xbox games. I have a ps4 and the series s is a perfect second console for the time being till I get a ps5 or pc early next year.
To be honest, I've been using a base Xbox one since it came out. The difference between x and s will be noticeable, but nothing that actually disrupts the experience. If you're looking for certainty, you might as well invest in a pc
Graphically impressive? 3 years? My friend you're in a stagnant age. Every few decades, gaming tech peaks and for a console generation or two EVERY game will be doing 4K, 8K or whatever is the norm, meaning all the games will look the same at a certain point.
I feel like the Series S is also good for folks who are primarily Playstation users but also want an Xbox for Game Pass access and exclusives. That's why I bought a One S, I consider it more of a secondary console.
To me is appealing to travel. Usually I travel for months (I live between 2 countries) and in one of the house is where I have my PC, so having a small console and just connect that to a monitor is enough for playing Destiny 2.
If I was from a 1st world country were u could get a XSX for 35dll a month Gamepass included I would get one. But I'm from Mexico and XSX is 750 US dlls. And XSS 425 so I don't really have a choice. I got my XSS yesterday. all I play is Apex and hopefully Halo.
I also think it’s worth mentioning that it’s near impossible to even find a series X to buy, where as the series S is pretty well stocked and you usually find one or two at normal stores like Walmart, target, and even regional stores like Fred Myers.
Where I live the Series X imported from the US costs 900 USD which is just not worth it so I went for the Series S which is at the normal price and there’s plenty of stock.
Found mine today at my local WalMart. They had 1 in stock but I did hear the guy call over the radio and say "Well, this one didn't last long" - Right place right time.
@MysticOwlzz dont upgrade the storage. 300 for the console+ 200 for 1tb storage makes 500bucks. Just go for the series X with 1 tb then... Almost the same price and wayyy better performance and future proof
They cut everything they could to get the price down to $300. That extra 512GB would probably have forced the console to be close to $400, then it's even more pointless next to Series X at $500. But don't worry. SSDs are the one thing that are getting cheaper each year, so they'll probably release a $300 Series S 1TB in a year or two.
P.S. Get used to backing up games to an external HDD or SSD. You really only need your current games on the fast drive. Also don't forget you can *play* all back compat games off external HDD, so don't waste internal space on them.
@@abexzile ya ik that but the hard drives that others use aren't going to be able to keep the new gen games on so you're going to need to buy a whole new hardrive if u even wanna keep new gen games on the storage device

Ain’t next gen then is it.... rather continue playing on current PlayStation or Xbox. They’ll support it for at least a couple more years, and the next gen prices will then drop. I think it’s a bad choice to go for the halfway measure, instead of waiting and saving.

@@akaheadlesschicken il be honest, I buy all consoles when the release. And I hardly play and am a casual gamer really 😅. Same with my gaming pc, I upgrade almost every gen.
I’ve bought one to go alongside my PS5. The only content I will use on it is gamepass, I won’t be buying games for it. With that in mind, it’s a superb little box. In years to come I may sell it on and buy a Series X when they release one with a larger HDD in a few years and there’s the content to warrant it. Honestly for the money, I think it’s fantastic.
I got the same thing in mind! I just wanna be able to play older games that the PS5 simply just won't let me. I'd get a XSX, but I honestly want to play games on gamepass anyway and buy games for the PS5 only. My only qualms is that I'm gonna be upgrading to a 4k tv from my 12 yr old plasma soon. So the series S might have problems on a 4k screen. Looking at the LG CX or C1. Thoughts you guys?
1: All next gen Xbox games will be optimized for the Series S as well as the Series X 2: You didn't mention the fact that the Series S also has an SSD which vastly improves loading speeds. 3: 1440p is the sweet spot for most games imho especially if you're using a gaming monitor, and Series S easily achieves this, not to mention you can use 1440p on even the One S, albeit through upscaling.
When i first heard about it i was absolutely excited for it, but reality showed us otherwise, the console doesn't hold 1440 p 60 fps at all, take for example AC vahlalla, it can't even run 60 fps 1080 p on series s.... I'm gonna stick with series x
Only reason why I'm consodering the XSS. There's STILL no sign either xsx or ps5 will ever be back in stock and XSS is constantly available... I'm sick of waiting!!
@@mategalgan ok so I got the S and been using it for a few days now and I must say I'm impressed. It's amazing. It does have a slightly lower GPU specs but this is purely because it doesn't have to pull 4K. There are only 3 differences between xss and xsx; - 4k vs 1440p - blue Ray vs digital - 1TB vs 512GB For me it's perfect because I play on a 1080p and the picture is crystal clear, Sharp and smooth 60fps. I only play 3-4 games at a time so small SSD doesn't bother me and lack of blu ray is OK because I'm all about digital. Also game pass is absolutely amazing, I'm seeing great offers in the Store too. I'm very happy with the purchase, bought this only because xsx isn't avaliable but now I think I'm gonna keep it, don't want the xsx anymore.
@@mategalgan pretty much what the other guys said. I played at 1440 on my $1200 PC and this looks better in every way and it’s way more user friendly. To anyone interested, I have owned a Series S and a PS5 for little over a year now and I do not regret buying the Series S whatsoever. I play all my multiplayer games on the Series S while all my single player/PS exclusives on the PlayStation. Reason being all my friends are on Xbox and I prefer the Xbox controller. Games like MW2 (2022) runs 120FPS at 1080p without any issues. Load times are very alike to the load times on the PS5 sometimes it even feels faster. Quiet and small. Performance issues such as hitches and stutters NEVER happened. Only two downsides to the console in my opinion, but I knew them before I bought the console, is the resolution and storage. When playing high demanding games and you look into the distance it is very clearly blurry or missing textures, sometimes you can see the world load in (pop) as you walk around, and sadly the storage can get filled up very very very quickly.
@@jolanjakers8380 But to get a pc that has the same performance as a series s|x for 300-500 dollars is impossible. So some people would just get the Xbox
2070ti isn't a real thing. Your seller did you dirty. Series S is legit nice but I struggle with the fact that it doesn't have a disk drive. The xbox marketplace isn't consistent enough in its pricing to do away with disks all together Eg: I bought Nba 2k21 disk for $20 for my xbox one x. But on the marketplace it's listed as $100. Meanwhile Nba 2k22 has a sale at $49. Just doesn't make sense. So for now: Series S for gamepass ONLY. Series X will be my next upgrade when I get the money.
I have a series S and game pass and am having an absolute blast on exclusives and other stuff, looks great on my 4k TV but then I don't get so hung up on the stats. Its a great way to get on with my friends who only play pc or xbox. My main console will be the disc ps5 which arrives this week. Storage is an issue on all these new generation consoles but also a bonus in terms of load times and performance etc. Series S is a fantastic console for the price, its form factor is unobtrusive and power consumption is great. Its a no brainer if you don't own Microsoft hardware and want to try out game pass. Series X if you love Microsoft and want the full works, but S has its place and I have zero regrets. Just my opinion.
I’m on PC / PS4 and the S is a nice option for me with GamePass. Yeah I can stay on PC but $300 isn’t too bad. My only gripe about it is the internal SSD is already removable. I imagine it’s for immediate ramping up of new SKUs that offer larger storage. And who’s to say an all digital Series X won’t follow soon. Otherwise I could make 360GB work until I’m running to GameStop to trade it in. That’s one key take away. The other take away is that many backwards compatible games will run at 900p. That kinda sucks. I hope they can enforce a 1080p 60fps performance mode regardless of the developers choices. Optimized S sometimes focuses on 1440p upscaled to 4K at 30FPS. Still wish I could rock 60fps locked at 1080p as an option.
PS5 gamer here and purchased the Xbox series x and s and decided for the secondary of the S.... I have a gaming PC but love console gaming more. Decided with the S because I legit will only ever play the Xbox for fable and other exclusives like gears, other than that PS all the way. S is a solid secondary
Just wait and buy the series x when it’s available again. The +200$ are totally worth it! And you won’t regret it like you will with the series s. Believe me.
Yea I agree, however my xbox one s runs my current disk games fine... I would rather buy discs but thinking about it, buying digital should be ok for me.
Honestly. I’d say Xbox Series S is my favourite console right now. But I say that mostly in regards to the retroarch exploit which seals the deal for me. Every single game from my childhood and from every console generation in one machine? Was definitely worth the buy. Can swap from playing Mega Man NES games to playing GTA San Andreas with the press of a few buttons. Just need to get an external hard drive and I think this is the only console I’ll ever need to be honest.
I have had 0 regrets with my series S. I picked up a 244hz monitor too (all for the price of a series X lol) and i play games 120fps at 1440p and my frames literally only drop during cutscenes or transitional screens which it literally doesn't matter during those times anyway. Had my S for a month now with plans to upgrade to an X when they are more readily available but now i dont find it necessary. My friend has an X and 4k tv playing our games side by side there is so little difference its almost laughable that he paid 800$ for his while i paid 320 for mine....psa to anyone planning to come to next gen unless you need a disc drive go with the S you wont be disappointed
@@danielarthur2915 I honestly feel like the series s is a waste of money for a few reasons. No disc drive. Only 356 gb of usable ssd and ssd is 220 dollars for 1 tb alone. And by the time u buy all that it exceeds the cost of. Series x
Series S is a good option for entry level gaming or for those of us on a budget. I'm grateful that Microsoft came out with 2 distinct options since the gamers universe is quite diverse.

They had years seeing the One S vastly outselling the One X. Makes sense to have a less expensive option. How well games run on the Series S will be up to the developer. Will see ray tracing in some, not in others. 1440p in some, 900p in others. 30 fps in some, 60 fps in others, 120 fps in a few. Going to be all over the place where the Series X will pretty consistently be 4k 30/60 fps depending on performance modes.
as their GDK comes online and developers no longer use the XDK so the RDNA 2 features are unlocked there should be little difference between the consoles minus resolution. But for the first year or 2 you're right that it will be very all over the place. And the 900p thing shouldn't ever happen unless it's a dynamic resolution thing once they are using the new tools.

@@barrybbenson3879 hi, I do not have the S yet, I will most likely have it buy the end of July. If you comment again to remind me, I’ll be sure to let you know👍
Same! Haha and just recently my OG one has started to stroke out hard. So I think S is the only viable option consider the x is out of stock due to scalpers
I got the Series S, I had the Xbox One but got rid of it years ago, it’s cool being able to download old games I had in the past, it’s a great console to have in the bedroom, and with the improved loading times I’m loving it! If I ever wanted to upgrade to the series X I’d still keep the S to keep in the bedroom
@@TheChosennn depends, do you want physical copies of games? Are you going to be playing it often? Are you going to have a TON of games or just exclusives?
The S is worth it. Im a pc gamer and I play with friends on games like siege and I also wanted to still have access to my xbox library moving forward. This console was perfect for me. Im on a 240hz 1440p monitor, but I have testing it on a 4k tv and both experiences are fantastic. If you put your eyeballs to the screen you may notice a little upscaling bugs in some games that devs chose to hit target frames rather than resolution, but that is about it. From a playing distance it is hardly noticeable if at all. This thing is a powerhouse of a little console. Im playing siege on console at anywhere from 140fps to 180 at its highs. Some of the X/S upgrade games and enhanced games are fantastic here as well. Im really enjoing Fenyx. It is basically a Breath of the Wild inspired type game. Overall great value and quality and YES it is better than the One X. Don't let what was said in this video tell you otherwise as I just came from the One X and everything runs more smoothly regardless of resolution upscaling on 4k. Only a few titles are noticeable where devs chose to have wonky scaling on previous gen. That is the devs fault, not xbox.
I have a series s and honestly with how fast it loads and how good it looks…it’s honestly a great system for the price and also paired with a good monitor making it run at 120hz it’s a great choice. I use ig with a LG gl650f-b and it runs at 120hz
Bought the s as my collection is all digital. I can hook up An external drive for most of my games and i can delete and install games like i have been doing the last gen as Well. I feel this is a worthy upgrade for those gamers like me that don't Care about graphics but just want to enjoy the story and game itself.
@William Perri it can hold games like the xbox one games and some that are upgraded to s versions, like ghost recon breakpoint for example. The only game that specifically asked for to be installed on the internal up until now was the tourist. You could always delete and reinstall games, if you run out of internal space or wait until the ssd expansion is dirt cheap.
@William Perri you can always plug in an external drive and quickly transfer games you’re not playing to it instead of deleting it, and when you wanna play the game again you can always transfer it back, and if it’s an external SSD then the transfer is really really fast actually.
For someone who just plays COD, Madden, Fifa and some game pass games, the S is more than enough for me. I don't usually get into big triple A games especially single player ones. If I find myself needing more storage, I'll buy a PS5 digital whenever there's a sale in a year or two and it's $300-$350
This probably isn’t a joke, but this is hilariously ironic considering how insanely out of stock the switch was when the pandemic started and for months after.
It is good, but the storage is awful. Hopefully third parties make cheapers compatables SSD's. Because there is no point in buying the official one for this console.
Nah bro game pass only 1 dollar for your first three months , 100+ games , and I just got ac vallahalla and watch dogs legion in a bundle for sale only 70 bucks.. deals on mc store are clutch
Just like Mike Ehrmantraut said in Breaking Bad: "I chose a half measure when I should have gone all the way. I'll never make that mistake again. No more half measures, Walter" lolz!
I live in a developing country where the Tech is like 60% more expensive so the Series S costs the equivalent of $500 but the other next Gen consoles cost more around $800, so unless you're super rich, a series s is really your only choice.
Assassins Creed Valhalla 55GB Cyberpunk 2077 80GB Mortal Kombat 11 60GB (roughly) Resident Evil 4 Remake 30GB (Guess??? because RE2 RE3 are about 20 each) Elder Scrolls 6 50GB (Skyrim is 27GB on last gen so its probably gonna be about 50GB) Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition 35GB these are the games i'd play if i got a series S I'd probably play most of these games excessively but in particular: AC:V,DMC5,MK11 310GB isn't bad for 6 really good games if you leave space for future gen games also you wouldn't have to download 4K texture pack updates and lets be honest how many games do people play side by side 2?3? 4 maximum? I probably won't change your opinion on this cus we xbox gamers are a stubborn bunch but just consider it
@@PlanetNateGaming good point. I guess it comes down to personal preference of whether you'd like to have a collection of games at the ready. Especially if you want to take advantage of quick resume.
Never really got the whole 4k movement. Especially for PC. Like I challenge anyone to be able to tell the difference between 1080p and 4k on a 21" monitor. Maybe a 75" tv.
@Stefan Urban my 30" 1080 lg 144 hz is good enough for me. Ur just wasting money. How far u have to sit away from that 50" tv ur using as a moniter... whats the point.
@@stryker0ae honestly for me the experience was like at first I didn't notice much difference but then I noticed that distant objects/backgrounds especially benefitted from 4K and going back to 1080p after that felt like someone put some sort of semitranslucent foil over the screen I know this analogy isn't the best but I hope you get the gist, also in some cases it eliminated the need for Anti Aliasing for the games. It is a bunch of little things but I do think 4k@60fps is a nice sweetspot for couch gaming.
As someone who has been pretty much exclusively a PC gamer for the last 10 years, and hasn’t touched an Xbox since I was little, the series s has been... an interesting refresher. Due to life and being gone from the world for a while, I haven’t had the opportunity to upgrade my rather out dated PC, and don’t even have access to my pc rn, I’ve grown fond of the very affordable option that is gaming on the series S. With game pass and quick resume, I can easily relax by sitting down turning the system on and Almost instantly hopping into a variety of games and enjoying my evening. I think anyone would be quite pleased with the experience the series S offers, regardless of your background or situation.

I'm getting the Series S for consistent 60fps on Apex, on ps4 slim it's 30-40 fps now
Only Xbox I’ve ever owned was a 360. It would have been pointless even for me to get a series S. I had to get the series X it wasn’t even a choice lol

But only 6 games
Yoo
Same here.
It’s tiny, but heavy.
Doesn't actually have that much more power if you've actually looked it up

The question is how good is it in 3 years, when games are graphically more impressive and the difference between the S and X is getting bigger.
Worse graphics and will only be able to hold 3 games
That’s when you buy a Series X on sale
In three years Xbox will have at least one or two new upgraded Xboxes to buy, like they did with the Xbox One.

I just picked up an “S” and am very impressed with it. Perfect for my monitor setup and to still be able to have access to the Exclusive’s.

@@juice8431 Possibly means next gen exclusives that cannot be played on ps4/xb1...
1: All next gen Xbox games will be optimized for the Series S as well as the Series X
2: You didn't mention the fact that the Series S also has an SSD which vastly improves loading speeds.

@@mategalgan ok so I got the S and been using it for a few days now and I must say I'm impressed. It's amazing. It does have a slightly lower GPU specs but this is purely because it doesn't have to pull 4K. There are only 3 differences between xss and xsx;
- 4k vs 1440p
- blue Ray vs digital
- 1TB vs 512GB
For me it's perfect because I play on a 1080p and the picture is crystal clear, Sharp and smooth 60fps.

I feel this is a worthy upgrade for those gamers like me that don't Care about graphics but just want to enjoy the story and game itself.
@William Perri an external HDD can hold and play XBO games from what i've read
@William Perri it can hold games like the xbox one games and some that are upgraded to s versions, like ghost recon breakpoint for example. The only game that specifically asked for to be installed on the internal up until now was the tourist. You could always delete and reinstall games, if you run out of internal space or wait until the ssd expansion is dirt cheap.
Hi your comment is spot on a next gen console for £249 I'm in.
@William Perri you can always plug in an external drive and quickly transfer games you’re not playing to it instead of deleting it, and when you wanna play the game again you can always transfer it back, and if it’s an external SSD then the transfer is really really fast actually.
@Ragnar Lothbrok he legit just said he doesn’t care about quality and resolution?..
Sometimes, I just watch these videos because it's nice to hear Falcon's smooth voice.
Found 3 Xbox series s’s at Walmart and I leave for 30 mins and they all gone 🥺🤦🏽♂️
Damn. Though they’re not out of stock
They were in the store?
@@irv6320 yeah
Why would u leave
@@darianchess probably needed to ask mom for money
I'm literally playing my games on a 900p monitor, and it looks great. So I wouldn't mind the lower resolution.
Interesting
For someone who just plays COD, Madden, Fifa and some game pass games, the S is more than enough for me. I don't usually get into big triple A games especially single player ones. If I find myself needing more storage, I'll buy a PS5 digital whenever there's a sale in a year or two and it's $300-$350
I bought a switch instead until consoles get reasonably restocked
thinking of grabbing a switch lite, couldn't grab the XSX at pre-sale and it's gonna restock like in March in my country lol
This probably isn’t a joke, but this is hilariously ironic considering how insanely out of stock the switch was when the pandemic started and for months after.
@@vullord666 I know what you mean finding a switch now was hard too but not impossible like the PS5 or Xbox Series X
@Gerard Deane good stuff what games are you picking up
Should’ve waited...4K one comes out next year.
People are actually surprised by how good the Series S is. Weirdly enough.
It is good, but the storage is awful. Hopefully third parties make cheapers compatables SSD's. Because there is no point in buying the official one for this console.
Storage is awful but everything else is amazing
Same price of a Nintendo Switch for a way, way, way, way superior console. Well...an actual console not a tablet.
@@juanrubio6132 yeah
@@athena9029 the ram is what worries me. I don’t think this console is for the long run. I think they will make a new model in 4 or 5 years.
I waited an entire year and finally found the series X. Its absolutely amazing i love it. Strongly suggest the X
Most i like is the short answer at the beginning, thumbs up for that 👍🏻

I buy them because they download way faster

Yes.
Just got mine for double the price in the middle east.
The cheapest where I live for the series s is $500
Forgot to mention that the series S has less storage space than the series X
Assassins Creed Valhalla 55GB
Cyberpunk 2077 80GB
Mortal Kombat 11 60GB (roughly)
Resident Evil 4 Remake 30GB (Guess??? because RE2 RE3 are about 20 each)
Elder Scrolls 6 50GB (Skyrim is 27GB on last gen so its probably gonna be about 50GB)
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition 35GB
these are the games i'd play if i got a series S I'd probably play most of these games excessively but in particular: AC:V,DMC5,MK11
310GB isn't bad for 6 really good games if you leave space for future gen games also you wouldn't have to download 4K texture pack updates
and lets be honest how many games do people play side by side 2?3? 4 maximum? I probably won't change your opinion on this cus we xbox gamers are a stubborn bunch but just consider it
@@PlanetNateGaming a single of many updates to any of those ~20gb
@@PlanetNateGaming good point. I guess it comes down to personal preference of whether you'd like to have a collection of games at the ready. Especially if you want to take advantage of quick resume.
@@PlanetNateGaming And then there are games such as CoD:MW / BOCW which take up 200GB. I really wish that the Series S would come with a 750GB SSD
Rdr2 would take up like 25% of my entire Xbox Series S.

Hardcore gamers with their 64K tv/monitor: *screech*
Never really got the whole 4k movement. Especially for PC. Like I challenge anyone to be able to tell the difference between 1080p and 4k on a 21" monitor. Maybe a 75" tv.
@Stefan Urban my 30" 1080 lg 144 hz is good enough for me. Ur just wasting money. How far u have to sit away from that 50" tv ur using as a moniter... whats the point.
4K is for normies. We care about refresh rates and fps.

I personally think that Series S is a great way for gamers to enter next gen on a tighter budget. More options are always welcomed !
I hate console never gone back
this comment is very relatable
Remember when they used to make a console, then bring out a slim version, a year or so later?
Now i just feel confused and overwhelmed by the amount of words needed to sell a console 🤦♂️
There is 2 consoles, the cheaper one and the expensive one. Whats so hard to understand

Im guessing you don't understand what all the words mean?
My brother plans to buy one, he has a little kid who loves games he can't really play them correctly but he loves wandering around in games. I never realized kids that young would be able to navigate so well in 3d worlds.
