Would love to see the Warriors play the Grizzlies in next years playoffs. It was my favorite series of this years playoffs, and I love seeing a new rivalry being born. I think if the playoff rematch happens, the warriors will gentleman’s sweep the grizzlies as long as everyone stays healthy.

The western conference is deep as of now, The Warriors are still the Warriors, Mavs now have a decent center and a Slim Luka, Kawhi and PG13 and Wall form a so called big 3 for the Clippers, Timberwolves went all out to acquire Gobert to have a counter for the small ball... and if Zion and the Pelicans stay healthy that is a playoff contender as well, Nuggets are also gonna get back Murray and even MPJ... So for the Grizzlies to clinch a playoff spot seems pretty much impossible... I think they could be at the play in next year...

And added Divicenzo better replacement for GP2 but not as good in defense.. Jamychal an athletic version of Draymond but not as efficient shooter as Porter...Kuminga and Moody a way better replacement for DLee and JTA and the future of GSW... GSW still have Gui Santos, Mannion, Jessup for 15th spot

The Warriors in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 had the entire league on their butts the entire season long, including playoffs. The Grizzlies are now in that same situation (like the Suns last season) and they’re about to, “get a reality check” or maybe not. Either way, they’re going to lose.
Difference is, Warriors were winning championship, getting to the WCF and Finals, being an actual heavy threat

Happy to report from the future that the Warriors did take down the Grizzlies in that Christmas Day match up. Klay taunted Brooks as the latter slid across the floor and it was definitely one of the loudest moments of the season.

The teams state led that they would lose to in the playoffs is a joke because out of the all of the teams listed the grizzlies won or tied the regular season matchups with them and in the playoffs last season the Timberwolves were by far the worst matchup for them going in and still prevailed. I have a hot take..... Jordan Poole > Ja Morant in the long run. That's right, Grizzlies' superstar is not better than Warriors' 6th man. This is gonna be apparent in 4-5 years because of how much Ja Morant relies on his athleticism. Poole on the other hand plays like Curry, high pick and roll, deep shots, finishing under the rim in some situations. If he keeps up the hardwork, Poole is a future superstar in the league.

On the other hand, there's no other superstars on Memphis, so Ja is the first option. Next, it's good if he continues to be athletic for a long time but that shouldn't be his only option. Unless he develops a good midrange jumper or 3pt shot, he'll fade in his late 20s. But Poole has an excellent jumper and long range shot for a 23 year old.
