Moosehead Lake Region Greenville Maine Part 1

In late May, 2022 I traveled by motorcycle from southern Maine to the Moosehead Lake Region to Greenville, Maine, located at the southern end of Moosehead Lake. In this short video clip, I ride the off-highway backroads from the Waterville Exit to Fairfield, Skowhegan, Wesserunsett Lake Region, Solon, Bingham, Kingsbury Pond, Abbot, Monson (to name a few towns) and continue on up to Greenville, Maine. I stayed at the Moose Mountain Inn, which I highly recommend, and enjoyed a week checking out the Moosehead Lake area.

N ice vid Rick. I know that area well. When your up there again head toward the Nahmakanta Wilderness area around Kokajo. I'd recommend Third Branch Pond camps to stay at. Rustic and pretty.

Hey Over The Horizon Adventure Riding thank you for your encouraging comments! Yes, I will definitely go back and do some camping at the Nahmakanta Wilderness area. Part 2 of my visit to Greenville coming up shortly. Hint: "Elephant Mountain" and it's tragic story.

@@overthehorizonadventurerid108 Indeed it is and yes, I traveled the 7 miles on up to the west side of the crash site. The wreckage is there. 😢
