@dabishop 9060. I love the aerial views indeed. I like to see where I'm at with the drone. I travel to different and new places during the summer, but even from the air, places can look different. @ladybluejeans Thank you for your comments. It was a great trip to see a fort that has been around pre-1700's and it is currently in such a great, preserved state with working people dressed in those century-old attire. Highly recommend a visit if you are ever in that area. 😊👍

Yes, several places in the state have signs that dirt roads may be closed from Oct thru April that I've seen, Vermont is definitely a motorcyclist's dream. I love the mountains, lakes and forested areas to ride in. I'll be heading to Rutland soon and then ride the ferry over to New York State and visit Fort Ticonderoga. Again, thank you for watching! 🏍

@guybrowning Hi Guy, I do not have a GPX file to share with you for that particular route as there are seperate routes to take as mentioned in the video clip. I came across the website listed in the opening comments and started out in Pittsford to Huntington reflected in the article at the bottom-left of website. I started my route at the beginning of Sugar Hollow Road Pittsford tinyurl.com/3u2f4ar4 in the rut where the dirt highway started. (URL shows where I started) and you can choose the various routes for your designed trip. Vermont is a motorcyclist's dream! Glad that you enjoyed the video! Ride safe! 🏍😊

There is a beach along the shore to fish at Long Pond, not a lake but certainly fooled me when the drone went up and I had a look around. It's a great place to fish, kayak and hang out indeed. Thank you for your comments, much appreciated. When I drove up Elephant Mountain and arrived at the memorial site nobody else was there that early morning. Research leading up to visiting the site created a "must see" personally for me being a former Air Force member. A solemn site indeed no matter how long ago this incident occured. A training mission that ended tragically. May they rest in peace.
