Dang, there’s some nuggets here.
When I was roasting in 2019-2020 on an SF-6 I would brew with a blade grinder, a Mr. Coffee, and tap water to see what the lowest end of the spectrum would be.

Cheap blade grinder, Mr coffee, and tap water.
