That is a great question! Actually, carotid sheath extends from the base of the skull to the aortic arch in the mediastinum. At the base of the skull, it encircles the jugular, carotid and hypoglossal foramina. Therefore, in the upper part of the neck above carotid triangle, it contains the last 4 cranial nerves in addition to the internal carotid artery and internal jugular vein. Then, 3 out of the 4 cranial nerves leave the sheath (glossopharyngeal, hypoglossal and accessory) and the only nerve stays through the whole length of the neck is vagus nerve. Thus, if you asked about its contents in carotid triangle, you list vagus nerve but if you asked about its contents above the posterior belly of digastric, all last 4 cranial nerves are inside the sheath.
Sure, i'll do my best to prepare one. Unfortunately time limitation is a negative factor to prepare more videos quickly. However i promise i will consider doing one.
