  • This video explains how to use relative clauses (Relativsätze) in the dative case to give more information about an indirect object of a verb. You will also learn how to use dative prepositions in relative clauses, for example:
    These are the people with whom I play rugby
    I find myself using relative clauses all the time and I really think they’ll help you to improve your conversational German!
    This lesson is ideal for GCSE or A Level students or those looking to be working at CEFR level A1 - A2!
    Not only will dative relative clauses improve your German, they can also help to improve your knowledge of English grammar! (Who really knows when to use the word 'whom'?!)
