Only certain things can be dated due to age but if they can’t date it, it means it’s to old to do so or is in very terrible condition but typically just age

@@RanEdgar-ok3wk Actually NOTHING can be dated accurately. All dating methods are based upon assumptions. The only real way to know how old something is, is for a witness to have been there to see when the item was formed. Otherwise, it is similar to a person's own age; there is no fool-proof method for determining a person's age. We can measure a person's weight, height, temperature, blood pressure, etc., but not a person's age. The only way a person knows their age is because their parents were there to document it (and from a birth certificate).

The Sun should appear much older than the Earth considering that without the sun, there can be no life on Earth. Yet the scientific data says that the sun appears to be around 6000 years old and not billions of years old according to a deep time believing astronomer.

6000 years old? Seriously, do some research into the topic. The age of the sun is pretty well documented. Also, I have no idea what you mean by it looking young. How can you determine the age of a star by looking at it? We use radioactive dating to determine it. Read a book that isn't the Bible. Respectfully. Like you can believe what you want to believe, but you shouldn't go around spreading your dogma as though it's fact. It damages real discussions and science. I'm not even going to argue with you because I'm assuming you're an adult who isn't very impressionable anymore and your tree of misinformation seems firmly rooted.
