VHCC2021: Discover Hub : A Cancer Patients Journey

Cancer affects 1 in every 2 people. Diagnostics, treatment and long term follow up requires a large multi-disciplinary Team.
Hazel Pennington and Jo McNamara as Macmillan Clinical Fellows have an amazing guest speaker Rhea Crighton to talk about her experience of having gynaecological cancer and talks about the Allied Health Professions (AHP's) that contributed to her cancer journey.
We also hear first-hand from some of the AHPs who work in cancer services who help support people like Rhea. We promise this talk will really open your eyes to all the AHP roles and how healthcare careers can make a real impact to a persons life.
